Wanna know something cool? There's a guy who, back when it seemed like Bleach would never see it's last arc animated, did a fan animation of several chapters, with the intention of doing the whole arc - his channel is called Retro Ryno. The production was so good they managed to get Johnny Yong Bosch himself to reprise the role of Ichigo for it. Retro Ryno was one of the animators in this episode. :D

Fun fact: in the manga Zanka no Tachi East appears even more powerful, as Yamamoto does not strike the ground, he placed the tip of the sword on the ground and cut upward.
