Astor Piazzolla - Adiós Novino - Yamandu Costa

Today, March 11, 2021, we celebrate the 100th anniversary of one of the greatest composers of the second half of the 20th century: Astor Piazzolla.
He knew how to place the music of his homeland, tango, in a high and innovative dimension, in an extremely creative and inspired way.
Piazzolla was also a fabulous bandoneon player, and in his youth, he played at night to support himself, which earned him the nickname "el gato".
This is one of the most emblematic themes of Piazzolla, and I met him in the interpretation of my dear Lúcio Yanel, great musician and eternal inspiration.
I leave here my somewhat improvised version of this fantastic song that is the combination of strength and sweetness.
