Nobi destroys the stereotype of the timid, stoic, introverted and overly polite Asian player. He’s direct, fresh, open, and not scared to give his opinion and crack some jokes. I loved him in this interview.

A lot of the players aren't what you'd typically expect judging just from how they appear during tournaments. Guys who are usually incredibly straight faced & don't exhibit much emotion during tournaments like LowHigh & Saint are actually pretty entertaining during their own personal streams. They just have to really harness their quan during tournaments.

Nobi is a smart guy. He is aware the bubble has potential to burst and is not acting like some others do. He wants the spotlight to stay on Tekken so he does what he can. I’m very curious to see what Bandai Namco and the FGC are going to do to keep people caring about Tekken

I wish I had Nobi's dedication. I'm literally just some Yellow rank who has been demoted all the way to green and feel so defeated, yet this man plays the world's best, does so wonderfully but not always successfully and sees the silver lining then keeps playing. I envy him so much. Huge respect. He's such a Tekken role model.

Great skills with a likeable personality to boot, and baby-loving. I feel that he's a lot easier to crack under pressure compared to the other two best Japanese players, Chikurin and Noroma. But I can't even handle online pressure all that well, it's just inherently tougher for some people than it is for others.

His thoughts about Season 2 and Dragunov/Steve were very interesting. Shame the path they took with the balancing was that drastic for some characters.
@mohammadalfattal29025 жыл бұрын
For anyone talking about the "realistic" part Yes nobi is right and i agree with him too He means realistic as a fighting style based game I practice kyokushin karate and jin does exactly the same moves that i learned and not only him almost 90% of the roster practice real life fighting styles with the exact same moves Hwoarong practice taekwando, steve is boxing, brayan is kickboxing, marduk is vale tudo, jozie is muay tai...etc It's just unimaginable how good the characters are in practicing their respective fighting style In terms of how opponent character react, the juggling system, bears and devils are part of tekken lore and to make the game as flashy and exciting as possible It's an arcade game in the end with some simulation aspects

Good interview. If you'd like to aid your fellow players in keeping the game alive, don't be shy to ask them: "Is there any character you'd like to see return?" Whether you get an answer regarding the old guard, or wishes for something new, or even contempt at the current roster - it's information for the devs, aswell as conversation fuel to inspire people to push and keep following the game. It's hard to imagine Tekken 8 or any subsequent sequel to this particular version, anytime soon. If the game is currently profitable, and the majority are happy with it in comparison to previous titles - it may be best to build upon it while the fire is hot.

@tysej45 жыл бұрын
Akuma is a wild-card but Mishima's are simple... It takes dedicated training to be a good Mishima but it doesn't take nearly as much training to learn how to fight against them. Simple and effective with execution being their main draw. As for fighting them... Well you know what you're getting into.

If you don’t like playing dragonuv because his toe slap doesn’t force crouch you probably weren’t a big fan in the first place. It’s still a really good poke. it cracks me up these guys think he’s dumpster tier now because of it.
@ThatBlastedSalami5 жыл бұрын
That's not what he was saying - Nobi still plays Dragunov as well as Steve in tournaments. His main issue is that the character has lost a lot of flavour and isn't as interesting to play anymore.

That Blasted Salami I understand and I’m not claiming to be more knowledgeable than these pros by any means I just think personally he’s more interesting now because he actually has to use more of his really cool move set instead of crutching so hard on one move.
