【Bonsai diary】 赤松の大物を山採りして改作を楽しむ ♯210

仕事現場の山で赤松を山採りしました。本来なら根回しをしてからの方が活着率は高いと思いますが、その赤松が生えてる場所は、後に伐採するので時間的に余裕がないので、強引ですがその手間をはぶいてます。

山採りは私が所有する山で行っています。
もしくは、所有していない場合は山の所有者の許可を得て山採りしています。
Mountain harvesting is done in the mountains I own. Or, if I don't own it, I'm harvesting it with the permission of the owner of the mountain.

Yes! It seems almost impossible, maples and many decidous tress can, but red pine? Itl looks hopeless, but mother nature is so powerfull. We will see a year later.

I came upon a pine that was buried in flood water for months. One of the branches had a tangled mass of sticks and leaves around it and the trunk. When I cleaned it out, there were root tips beginning to grow. So, it does happen.

As far as I can tell, red pine seems to be the most friendly to rooting. I have never tried it myself. Some very strong hormones and a constant moist, but not flooded, surface should help.

本来はラフィアと言うモノを使うのが適切だと思いますが、その代用の一つとしてビニールテープを使いました。無理に曲げてるので、幹、枝の樹皮を保護したり、折れたとしても千切れるのを防ぐ効果があると思います。
