I just purchased a brand new Yamada split needle post bed. I was assured that it was high-quality. WHAT A PIECE IF JUNK!!!! I had some of the very same problems that you have. Right out of the box it sewed about an inch and jammed. I have taken apart the bobbin housing several times. It’s taking one piece of thread and jamming it between the bobbin housing and the outside wall. It’s totally frozen and I can’t even move the hand wheel. It was $4000 and I have a feeling it’s going to be a huge fight and that the dealer won’t take the machine back. I live in a very remote area in Arizona and I bought it from a dealer in California. Advice to potential buyers: don’t even consider buying a Yamada!!!!

I'm glad I watched this. I was going to buy one of these. I don't like that plate on top that moves. I will buy a cowboy 3200 instead. Thanks for this video.

Quit working on it yourself. Take it to someone that is more understanding of the machine. Oh and the machine doesn’t feel anything.

Perfectly capable of working on a sewing machine myself this particular machine was junk and was broken. Why should I take it somewhere when it was literally brand new
