I chunked the radio. I never got it to work right. It wasn’t an expensive unit, so I can’t expect much from something cheap.

Interesting, the company reached out to you and you did not request a product from them(they float you free stuff for positives). Oldest trick in the book, they simply want you to give good vibes for their product.(but they don't want the public to know). Disgraceful way to do business.

They say "here is a free hose for you, just say to the viewers that this product is a thumbs up(but of course we(the public) cant see that they asked this of you), and they grease you with free stuff. But yamatic wont tell the public, or admit to it because why would they admit to that". My long time close friend has a detail channel and company's do that daily with him. I not ragging on you, just pointing out the lowlife crap that company's do. The only way to trust a review is if any person(or many) actually purchased a product and use it(I just did that with a cr spotless. The approach yamatic had you use is biased to the maxx.

Isn't that intended for use with a pressurewasher, hence the ⅜" quick connects?

Best utilized with a pressure washer yes, but is easily usable for a garden hose setup. Have yet to have any issues aside from the marring.
