So far they are just focusing on 1/60. Bandai is doing the DX Chogokin line of 1/48. Looks too be the most superior of all the 1/48.

Saw all these 1/48 in Tokyo about 3 months ago. They were going for 300+ USD, not sure what you paid, but I would say that they are increasing in value.

is this diecast or how many percent diecast parts?

The Resistance no, no external metal. The swing bar for the legs and the doors for the front landing gear are the only metal bits I currently recall.

Shame about the wear but wow what a beautiful VF-1
