what do you mean it sank only 2 us ships an escort carrier and a destroyer that's not that impressive and when comparing weight the Uss Lafey a destroyer took more damage and survived the Yamato wasn't that good of ship do to a lack of radar and in a fight any of the Iowa class battleships could sink the Yamato do the Iowa's having radar and a higher muzzle velocity that made the Iowa's 16 in guns as powerful or even more powerful than the Yamato's 18 in guns and since the Iowa's shells were lighter they could fire faster
