Fun fact: The raid to Onigashima is very similar to the Momotaro tale. Momonosuke is Momotaro, he met and befriended a monkey (Luffy's reference), Pheasant (Marco's reference), a dog (Yamato's reference), who agreed to help him in his quest in exchange for a portion of his kibi dango (Otama's reference).

Yamato's Zoan Devil Fruit transformation has finally descended to the anime and it + she were beautiful!!! The Makami (or Oguchi/Okuchi no Makami) is a Guardian God Wolf/god-personification of the Japanese Wolf, and A known fact about them are being Protectors against Fire; hence Yamato's ice powers. Makami lore is very remote in culture, but some modern EXs. are Megami Tensei, Persona 5, or Onigiri (which portrays Yamato's kinda better as Frigid Wolf Oguchi Makami). Best part is Makami's portrayal as Mythical Zoan mainly like Marco's as both Zoan & sorta Logia: an Ice Goddess Wolf; and how Awesome would it be for the Straw Hat Crew to have members that contribute to all 3 Devil Fruit types!!!! - AND Fun Fact: Regarding Franky vs Sasaki's fight- around that time when it came out in the manga, some of One Piece staff said that when it comes to Franky's fights, he's always versus-matches up against characters who either have weird character traits/personalities OR have weird fighting styles; and I'm pretty sure Sasaki falls under the second category with his triceratops frill helicopter-spinning
