Like fencing and strict parents, but then again all these hobbies and interests are influenced by their parents meaning it wasn't their choice to begin with. Cat Blanc is probably my favorite episode only because of the few seconds where he says "save me" and "here and it's already broken" (him referring to his heart when Ladybug asked where the akuma went) those two parts made me cry so hard I couldn't stop rewinding it. It was also really sad because at certain parts u can tell he doesn't mean harm and he just wants to fix everything because he hurt her and other loved ones. I also like the part when Adrien transforms into Cat Noir after Marinette broke up with Adrien and destroyed the akuma when then Marinette hugged Cat Noir. On the last episode when Adrien and Kagami were about to kiss Adrien stopped it saying that he didnt picture his first kiss being like that, BUT whenever they were doing the video for the class Adrien was more than willing to kiss Marinette without making any faces OR acting like he was obligated to do it. So here is my conclusion: Adrien always initiates any type of love between the characters. With Kagami, it was the rose. That’s what got her to start liking him. With Marinette, it’s always verbal (I think this is because he doesn’t want to ruin their friendship). For example, in the episode of the ice rink, at the end, Adrien implied that they should go to the ice rink alone by saying “You mean, just the two of us?” This made me think. When Marinette rejected the thought of being alone with Adrien, she showed no attraction whatsoever. This is why I think that Adrien tries to initiate the attraction but he shuts it down in fear of rejection which he probably got from his father (since he rejects him all the time). Also, Marinette knows that Adrien doesn’t have many close friends other than Mari and Nino. The others may be friends but they are not as close as Mari and Nino’s relationship with Adrien. So he doesn’t really understand human emotions or thoughts. And he doesn’t receive much help either. Plagg is a kwami, he doesn’t know much about humans either and Nino is starting to hang out with Alya much more now. Plus, he can’t really talk about his feelings for Marinette with Marinette. It may ruin their relationship which he values a lot.

Another thing: In Weredad, Chat gave Mari a light pink Rose with no thorns that later became a black rose. A light pink rose usually means sympathy or condolences. A pink rose with no thorns usually indicates the giver has loved the recipient since they first saw them, or love at first sight. And a black rose indicates the sadness a relationship can bring. To me, this says that Adrien DOES have a crush on Mari, but either isn't aware, or does realize though he doesn't want to say it, because he's afraid it could ruin the friendship they already have.
