While three boys brag about their grandfathers' professions, Gabo gets called away by his grandfather before he can share. This is a story about the relationship between a grandfather and his two grandsons, Grasya and Gibo. With Grasya working overseas, Mr. Gorio cares for the boys, teaching them to pray and do chores, while setting a selfless example.
When Gabo uncovers a photo of Mr. Gorio in jail, Gibo explains he was falsely imprisoned when Gabo was very young. Despite being beaten, Mr. Gorio repaid evil with good, helping others for years behind bars and meeting kind inmates.
Learning of his grandfather's admirable perseverance through injustice, Gabo feels blessed to have such an honorable role model. He now knows his grandfather's character makes him richer than any career achievement.
