Man its a shame that TOF doesn't incorporate these fantastic cutscenes within the story quests. Lately the quality of these has improved so much. Most story quest in game ends so abruptly and feels so disjointed which could have been remedied with cutscenes even if they were low budgets

the only complaint i have tbh.. lack of beautiful/mysterious cutscenes (hell in new quest they even forgot to add audio lmao) makes peeps skip through it all.. despite having decent story.. i was one of those who just treated it as vn and only focused on text.. it was good.. and i can tell u if they had focused on cutscenes and dialogue voices.. it would have gotten lotta attention from content streamers just based on story and game would have grown a lot attention and audience

These trailers keep getting better and better. I'm so sad, Yan Miao is adorable, but... I have to remain strong for Brevey! I can't afford trying to build a phys or fire team 😢 But all the comedic effects in this trailer were amazing. Loved the 4th wall break early on, showing the video timeline, the crop effect when she's crying... all great. Can't wait to see more of her in game, and to see more character trailers like this in the future!

_sigh_ Is it any wonder why some people _*cough_ redditors _*cough_ criticize ToF for its mediocre storytelling? First, when running a bureaucratic government (Dept. of ___, Ministry of ___, etc.), you'd be foolish not to change one of your department's name if it went through something as disastrous, nightmarish, and traumatic as the Nan Ying event; you'd want the public (in the story) to think it's a different, new office, even if only subconsciously. To keep using the hated "Department of Yuheng" is plot convenience, plain and simple. Second, a softie like Yan Miao, super cute, kind-hearted and strong warrior as she is, should never head an important office like this one. Compare her to Lin or Fiona (heck, just for fun, throw in Saki as well), who speak with authority, are decisive, and command the respect of their underlings; if she isn't better suited for a backroom office position, I don't know who is. In fact, Yan's qualifications isn't even clear-how'd she get the job again? Was there no recruitment/selection process involved? Because one interview with her, you'd immediately know not to give her such a tough position. Maybe she's in this role as a subversion of the strong leader trope or is there for variety's sake, but man, ngl, it's immersion breaking. Third, leaders delegate. Unless she has no staff (which is not possible since we saw them in the game. And hello, it's an administrative agency lol never heard of a one-man department ever), then she's going about this "Department Head" job wrong. Imo. Believability for me matters much in storytelling, and I get that ToF's basically shōnen anime, but honestly, I feel it wouldn't hurt to workshop this a little bit more. Ah, well; what do I know? I'm a nobody on the internet, and this is all just my 2¢.

This game is one of the most generous if you do it smart. The real greed government is the one that is always compared to this game, they are stingy as hell for sure, but not ToF :D

ToF nice idea but. When I started the game I was amazed of how it is crafted. Unfortunately the game on mobile used to last less than Genshin in about 1hour less. I finished the whole 1st map. But, when things got so serious I got bored. Why?. 1st it was really nice that we pull for weapons not for characters. But in the other hand we need pull for 4 other chips for each character. Which makes it top teir Gacha game. Not MMORPG. 2nd thing is character model. When I look at other games characters are shaped very carefully and they look so sharp. Their story, movements, attacks and model. In ToF characters are not Crafted verywell. 3rd too much to do, too much currencies, too much is so much. it is like. I like to drink tea with one spoon of sugar ToF is like cup of tea with 99 spoon of sugar. Over sweet. Gold Nucleus, Dark Nucleus and Red ones. Dark one not necessarily. Gold okay not bad. Red okay for time limited. But what makes it sucks is the fact that pity of Red Nucleus will be converted to flame coins. So when the limited banner ends all the pity or summons you did at the previous banner will be pity for the standard banner. Like why the heck,??? Like why? Why not keep pity it for time limited banner. That so cheap. Exploring is so generic and gets boring over time. So much things district you especially the latest update. Thankfully there was skip option. Without skip i wouldn't try it. I recommend for the company to reboot the game. And stop gacha or maybe keep only for one thing. Focus on character model and make skins for sale. Chips can be farmed not summoned or pulled. I would recommend to use stars rather than r, sr, ssr for rating. Make 4 stars character good to use. But 5 stars with extra ability makes it better. Avoid Genshin impact mistakes and now ToF mistakes the next game will be amazing. Stop pvp. Stop so many things. For narrating the story. Fast based presentation is better. No need for extra un necessarily things to happen.

I don’t play Genshin, but what you’re saying is false. You said Genshin is dead? Nope. The game is still going very strong. Ads are a way to get more people to try out a produce or service, and if that product and service is doing really well, I don’t think it is necessary to put out more ads. ToF on the other hand. You said it is a great game, but not a lot of people think so, including a lot of those who currently play the game. You see this everywhere, in their official discord, reddit, streams, KZbin, everywhere. Many ToF players lost faith in the game. Also, if the game is great, they wouldn’t want to do a reboot in the first place. So I don’t think the Genshin players regret anything. From what I’ve seen, when Genshin players are having any conversation, they talk about characters, world, story, lore, events, memes, etc. they don’t give a damn about ToF existence. A lot of them think ToF is on life support now. A lot of times when ToF players are having a conversation, they mention Genshin at some point.

@@arzurianrein4612 whether a game is on life support or not, there will always be spenders. I’ve seen in this in many games that are literally on life support. So obviously there will be something to keep the game updated, even with the little players they have left, who by the way are planning to jump ship once Wuthering Waves and Project Mugen are released. And yes, as for checking the community first, the community is where I get most of my answers from. Like I told the OP, official discord, reddit, KZbin, twitch, even unofficial discords that have ToF players. Yea, people speak their minds when you get them to talk. How many of your content creators quit the game because they see no future in ToF? Funny thing is they all follow this pattern where they defended the game no matter what, as they play you could feel their lack of interest growing for the game even though they say they love the game. Then they either take breaks or find another game to play and tell their community “don’t worry. I am just play this game for a while, and I am having fun, but I will not leave the ToF community”. And as time goes on, you can see they have no interest in coming back, even with new updates.

Last week, I asked in the official discord if it is worth jumping in the game now, because I’ve heard about the improvements and so on. Most of the replies were that even though there were improvements, it is still not worth getting into. While the others said I should just try it out myself and not listen to the negative people in the discord. It surprised me how split the community is.

@@rambii. Thats funny, wuwa and mugen more like direct competition against GI rather than TOf. Why ? Thats because all of those game cant create ur own character. No matter what u think, some ppl would still stay playing TOF for that feature alone. Open world, character creation, MMO, all of those aspect is the perfect combination for role playing. Wuwa, mugen, GI doesnt have that. So yeah, TOF still stay strong even tho its not that popular until theres new MMO anime game that better than TOF release. Also for community part, thats actually common for MMO game, since MMO need dedication to play, so not alot of player recommended ppl to play. Its not casual game, so who knows u will like it or not, if u want to know just try it urself.
