Oh, dear, did the ballet dancer forget to collude in the massive conflict of interest going on, and give a genuine critique? Plush's bootfaced demeanour... they were already shacked up at this point, weren't they? Secret for a year... was that during this show? We've seen her dance partner in Plushenko shows... The singer on the end at their wedding and performing at ice shows... JFC... I hope the public weren't spending their money phoning in votes for this show. Oh, the singing cuk gives a 6. @@Constantin9va Lol, I have no idea what he is saying. His demeanour says he knows he is going against the grain but is determined to do so. A stubborn rebellion. Then the reactions... no one is happy he is bucking the system. Pffft. I wish she was fascinating. I get the impression she uses earnestness as a device to hide the fact that she is deeply uninteresting, deeply uncharismatic. She never does a witty one-liner. Always has to lay a lot of foundations to get to her profundity. She seems to use pathos in the same way. So caring, all dullness is to be forgiven. Her voice - an accent or speech impediment? Very much a monotone and not a great tone at that, a bit raucous, maybe? But hey... I don't speak Russian. I could be completely wrong. I like to hope I am. But it's the people around her and their reactions that give the game away.

GuerillaCatty73 I agree that she is putting on an affect, but have to disagree that she is uninteresting. I mean, this woman went against the mob and WON! The Skating Lesson is a YT channel that has covered her the most in English speaking media, I’d check that out if you’d like to know more. It’s like a real life days of our lives over there in Russian skating world!

@@Constantin9va Yes, I watched that episode and groaned that the camp male taste once again wants to make an icon of a kitchy woman. We still have Kylie Minogue thanks to the gays. I don't find someone who happily let what happen to her predecessor, who enjoyed the money and corruption, the power and terror of having been in the Mob, interesting because they out-manoeuvred a creepy husband and the Mob when it was her turn. The Mafia, whether it be the original Italian incarnation or the subsequent international spawn, are not interesting. They rule by fear, ruthless, making ordinary people's lives a misery, murdering the good, the just, who try to better their system. That Russia, as a country, is still bogged down by the hideous post-perestroika carnage that ensued... anyone who benefited or profited from that period is, frankly, scum. And then we go back to a character that has been so ubiquitous in the anglosphere with the rise of celebrity culture... I have no patience with attention seeking, talentless bores. A poor man's Kardashian? Ugh. They are already piled high. I just hope her husband has been with her every step of the way, now that she's decided she doesn't have the patience to see through what has patently been a quiet building phase of his coaching career, especially whilst he still skates. If not, he's once again with a wife dictating his career, and again, for nothing more than for attention, conflict and drama. He's on the back foot when he's taking on the burden of a skater's success as his responsibility. He will be accountable, personally, as a coach, for her success or failure. A coach can only give someone the tools to succeed. The success is up to them. That's not what has happened here. So, again, I hope he has been in the thick of her plotting. It doesn't sound like he'd planned to coach full time, but hey... Plushy likes being a cuck, so who knows? Sorry, I'm not being fun, now, am I? Its not all a soap opera, I guess.
