Yandy not marrying Mendeecees legally is the smartest thing I've seen on this show. She was financially protecting herself. Once you get married to somebody who has legal obligations and debt that becomes your debt and his baby moms can take him to court and Yandy would have to pay his child support. Trust me I seen it.

It doesnt grant her as many rights but it does in fact grant her rights above a "baby mama". They refused to do prenuptial agreements because its against her faith so outside of that there isn't too many legal things you can do to protect herself. And now they are legally married so she is his legal wife as well now.

Yandy did not let Kimbella get sucker-punched by Chrissy. There's a reason it's called a "sucker punch": the victim-and often the bystanders-don't see it coming, and so they have their guard down. There was a lull in the confrontation when almost everyone there thought the violence, at least, was over. That's why Yandy ended up *on the other side of the room* by the time Chrissy threw those sucker punches; that's why Yandy wasn't able to pull Chrissy off of Kimbella by that point. Nooo Kimbella is not necessarily bringing up that part just for the hell of it. It is because Yandy in a scene with Jonathan talk about what happened and said that she pretty much deserve it. That is why Kim has an issue with Yandy. Yandy has Kim do all of the dirty work and yet, when there is a fallout, Yandy is talking crap about her best friend [now ex best friend]. Plus, Kim and Chrissy are not best friends. They just squashed the beef they had to where they are cordial. Yandy is partially to blame.
