I think it's important that fans criticize the production of dramas that don't ensure the safeguard of their actors and crew. Also, directors and anyone else in power that insist on actors losing weight to fit their ideals, to fit into costumes and look 'good' for the camera. This kind of behaviour is inhumane.

Not really... Directors would advice actors to lose some weight, true... but they don't control that, it's merely a suggestion. Beside, Yang Yang is far too big to be control by anyone. That's why everyone hates him.... Because they can't control him like they do with others. He's a simply a "Lone Alpha Wolf". Did you know that after his first agency betrayed him... He left without even saying goodbye? They had a party for him, hoping to renegotiate with him, at time... The Lost Tomb were peaking and they were hoping he would stayed for Season 2 but he fully & open discard them without fearing them because he's know he's good enough without having to depend on them, that's why lots of producers & directors are not too fancy with him, because HE'S NOT A TOOL they can control. When it's come to losing weight, it's all Actors' looks & their own preference, if they want to look good, they had to lose weight due to multiple layers of Clothes for Ancient Dramas. If they are too fat, they won't look good in it and fans will call them out on their own. So many actors, are doing that on their own, with a slight nudge from Directors/Producers. Also, he appeared so weak & skinny during his drama, it's because too many thing happened to him... 1. His own agency throw him under the bus due to FOMH's backlash to protect upcoming actors. Rumors that his Manager was dating a famous actress who's fame is declining, she's purposely try to sabotage Yang Yang's fame to save her own spot because IS THE TOP EARNER with 29 USD Million Salary (But that just a fake numbers, his true numbers were much higher after Tax Evasion report). Which lead Yang Yang to remove all his Agency Contacts from ALL OF HIS OFFICIAL SOCIAL ACCOUNTS. 2. His allegation with Churan which he cannot fight back, because if he does, it would mean that he will have to throw Churan under the bus too. To which he opt out to just stay silence & take the heat. Same method he's uses with many scandalous rumors. He stayed silence, to avoid throwing those women under the bus. I think it's through his mom teaching to respect women because he's obviously love his mom and seemed to speak highly of Women in his life. Including saying he's a want a Daughter more than a Son. 3. During film of Immortal Ascension, the new director tried to betray him too. She erased many of his shot scene & quickly shot replacement scene with all supporting casts during a 2 week holiday that Yang Yang took during his Birthday. They sneaky, went behind his back. But his fans (moles that were placed on the set) was alert to this and it blows up to point where production company had to come out and promised that Yang Yang's scene will occupied at least 90% of Screen Times. 4. It got so badly that Yang Yang was report to stop talking to entire filming crews out of spite & awkwardness from what they did to him behind his back. You can see it all from BTS, Yang Yang purposely avoid looking at the Director, whose name also "Yang Yang". 5. After everything with FOMH, I think he came to released that there are TOO MANY MOLES & Betrayers around him. Because all the news/black material surrounding these topics, came from those who closes to him. I think everyone would be sad... upon realizing that... To sump it up... he's simply not in a good place, physically & emotionally during this drama.

Also... Regarding his injuries... He's have too many of them. 1. During his "Ultimate Conquer". He did all his own stunts to point where he's badly injured and had to stop filming fighting scene. And last 10-15 episode of drama, he was rewritten to became a "Master Plan" rather than fighter, so the show became very boring at the end because Yang Yang couldn't fight. 2. During his early school days, he had a serious spine injury that he had to take months off of school. Because of this, he's abandon heavy dancing and when invite to be a Judge on Dancing Show, he's refused. Saying he's not good enough to judge anyone, the position were late given to Wang Yibo. 3. During his Lost Tomb day, he did a stunt that crack his rip cage and was... AGAIN... Retain from shooting fighting scene. 4. During his Martial Art Universe, he's also injured. 5. During one of a military show, he was suffocate by nerve gas, almost die. He was on the verge of dying for real. And had to be hospitalize and it badly damage his lungs and he's still suffered from it. During any per-recording shows, his coughing would be removed but if you see him Live Broadcast, he is coughing very often. 6. During Diva hit the road, he was abandoned ALONE on a mountain, with no car, no phone... And had to walk almost 6hrs back to the hotel. Since that incident, he refused to do any variety shows for almost 10yrs. And only start again after You Are My Glory. 7. During Van Guard, he wasn't injured but had a small relapsed. But refused to shy away from any action scene. He did all stunts by himself, not to mention jumping off 2 floor by himself with no harness.

Очень уважаю этого талантливого актёра и не могу примириться с тем, что он полностью выкладывается на съёмках, его начинают критиковать за работу режиссёра. И в новым фильме, и то уже начали палки в колеса вставлять. А актёр по-настоящему талантливый!!!

Thanks for this update, he’s not the only Asian actor that pushes through injury to complete films/series. It takes a heavy toll on their bodies, especially when they don’t get the time off to rest and heal. Wishing him the best to recover fully.❤

It is sad... to see so many people who wishes his downfall despite his effort far surpassed everyone else. Same with Fireworks of My Heart rating.... it peaked at #1 through out all platform it released. Even boosted Ruyi from 67% first half annual report which spike to 276% after later half report of 2023's annual financial report... NO ONE TALKS ABOUT IT! Despite all the backlashes... & low Douban rating, FOMH rating on its broadcast, far surpassed every Drama. But Haters, are gonna hate... what else can they do? All Hating is their Truthful Identity!

И снова Вы абсолютно правы! Его очень критиковали, а мне его "Слава спецназа" очень-очень понравилась , пересматривала несколько раз. Да и все его драмы прекрасны, но ведь завистников и злопыхателей с каждым его новым фильмом становится всё больше, но и число поклонников тоже растёт! Желаю ему удачи и здоровья! Right I 1st watched that drama in Nov 2023 & I loved it the whole time but then I started searching for more & boom the hate comments, got me shook I mean if he really was that bad actor there wouldn't have been a chance for me to love the drama & become his fan. I really am picky with my choices 😅 but then I realized so many ppl hate him just bc he is handsome I mean seriously? What da hell is wrong being born handsome and winning attention does not only depend on handsome looks you need to have potential which he has. Most of the hates are non related to his profession which is acting, they have problems with the way he walks or moves. I think he has that from the time when he was still in military school also hurting his back which made him to have a very straight posture & know that bc I'm someone with the same issue & when I walk my siblings keep asking y r you walking like that. I can understand YY how good it is to have a good posture 😄
