the one taotie is so necessary in my opinion like its a huge beater thats easily summoned plus its a trade off to winda which is very important and also stands up to qliphorts when theyre at 2100 attack or less

Arc Light is so good! You said it was like Macro but it isn't. It only banishes ones from the hand and deck so it only hurts Jiaotu plays but is good against Shaddoll, Nekroz, etc.

2 junk are also really good because you can summon it with a baxia on board and proceed to make any card in your extra.

I'd say that the ability of POD to get you an Incarnation or something is actually better than Upstarts randomness. But it depends on how to meta plays out.

Your missing kaiser and night dracolich. Kaiser is great with zings because you keep them locked down and when you get 2 monsters during your opponents bp, you can just synchro and keep them locked. Plus it's actually good with night dracolich, because if they can only have 1 monster in def with 0 (unless your playing mirror) then their gonna have a hard time trying to outpace you. Not the best but together they can slow down almost any deck.

The 1st turn Beelze with only 2 more cards in hand is not that great imo, because most of the Meta decks can easily get over it: Shaddoll -> Dragon, Burning Abyss -> Virgil, Satellaknight -> Triverr. I think it's better to set a Yang Zing monster and make plusses from Yang Zing Creation first.

Oh by the way, taotie is the card that allows you to make that play so you should think about running him but he is an horrible dead draw. Jiatou is good being a level 2 tuner but for me is not a 3 of, sounds nice as a 2

3x skill drain is bad especially if you're running 3x jiaotu just negates its effect which you know you could pull of some good syncro summons. you could run 2x break through skill 1x skill drain I plan to run 3x break through.

Breaking news: jiatou is bad. There is so much disruption that is not even worth it (vanity, fiendish, breakth, veiler chose your poison.) And what first turn play you're going for anyway? Beelze? Beelze is bad, you're 1 castel away from losing at that point. The only good plays with jiatou first turn are going second (yazi pop and baxia on op turn or baxia with 3 materials) you should play trap stun for this

Jiaotu in my opinion is great turn 1,given that you have the 2 yang zing cards in hand for his eff. Special Bi'an and Bixi,and make a Yazi which can't be destroyed by battle and is unaffected by traps. Also can't be targeted by opponent's card effects(Castel,101,Big eye,Dracossac etc.) and is actually vulnerable only to Raigeki/Dark hole. Or that bitch Construct.

Breaking News: you are playing Jiaotu wrong. i always love hearing people criticize cards just because they can lose out to floodgates like VIRTUALLY EVERY OTHER CARD IN THE GAME. also, Jiaotu makes bad hands more manageable (say you open with 3 or 4 Yang Zings; that hand would have been horrible pre-NECH but it's now a big play opportunity with Jiaotu)

domaug No. you can get a play disrupted by a floodgate with other cards, just like summoner monk which at some point he got dropped since how much trap cards people played, but discarding a card, or going -1 is not that of a big deal. going -2 is a totally different thing tho, you're left in one of the worst situations ever. "you're playing jiatou wrong", yeah, I need to play him once I am already winning right? he helps so much in bad situations, i need to run 3 of a card that is winmore.

SpiralHero i will stand by my point. arguing a card is bad because floodgates can disrupt it is an argument that can be made with every single other card in the game. also, even if Jiaotu IS stopped, it makes Yang Zing Path live even quicker than in pre-NECH Yang Zings. sure, there's more to it than just getting to use a draw spell, but i think Jiaotu is a great addition to the Yang Zings and has a very useful ability that can either set the momentum in favor of the Yang Zing player or swing momentum from one side to the other. i don't think it's bad. TL;DR: saying a card is bad because "floodgates" can be said about every other card ever.

Love it, the only problem is that I think Taotie should be played at 1. The reason being winda is 2200 and he is 2200 so it's an out to winda you always have access to. Otherwise yes it is a dead draw but Jaiotu is a thing.

Herald is the most broken card in the next, it's a solemn judgment that comes back every turn for free if you have a baxia on board

Yang Zing core will most likely set you back 100ish depending on the rarities you pick up. Shaddoll more like 150. Just depends who you get them off.

***** guess u don't read Yang Zing Rampage aka Brutality. It states if a yang zing monster battles it doubles its atk and def. No where does it say a monster. So idk what u are talking about with "my monster is unaffected by traps" u mean your synchro? Well u aren't really going to use this on Baxia or Yazi unless u used something else to synchro into them without bixi. U can just straight up use Brutality with any Yang Zing it doesn't have to be the synchro always. Its not a dead draw as well because u can just discard it with Jiatou.

Not Bad but i (a yang Zing Pro) pref. Supply Unit over Pot of D. and try to play 2 Desynchro ist soo good imagine you play Baxia shuffle cards in their deck and then desynchro and synchro again and suffle more cards in his deck... Another good side card is Mistake because it fu*k the most decks and yang zing are completly uneffected....I also play 2 vailor because when my oponent destroy me skill drain he feels safe but then comes my vailor also its a tuner for some difficult situations

I believe Skill Drain is an automatic loss if you're playing against Qliphorts. You can't use your Synchro's effects and they're big monsters just get bigger...

Yang zings arent affect by skill drain, Bixi makes their synchros unaffected by trap efts. but in either case yang zings can't keep up with qlis.

The current meta is complete trash there is no skill involved in flipping trap cards. Every single game starts set one monster and a shit ton on backrow bring back Heavy storm at least to one the only reason raigeki is back is because all the floater decks that don't give a shit and because of pendulums. Only cards that should stay banned are the ones that can pull off those first turn ftk's because trolls will only run that also scientists and shock master should stay everything else bring it back

None of those cards are automatic ftk emperor dragon is not that good in the meta because shaddolls would get effect as well as burning abyss plus for the rest u have solemn of you enjoy continuing to set one monster and a bunch of back row good for you I don't is spell book bad yes but doesn't automatically equal a win to me auto win cards are the only things that should be banned also let me add yata to the last of things that should never come back I think the game is strong enough for everything else to come back

Sorry I'm just bored of playing shaddolls lightsworn which is what I play for tournaments and I'm just bored with the constant mirror matches I'm bored playing burning abyss and tellaknights and I refuse to play qliphorts because the entire pendulum idea is just broken if you are happy playing the same matches over and over again I'm happy for you but to me it's boring playing unlimited on Dev pro or DN u see so much creativity in the decks. Of course you have the occasional tell who runs exodia or chain burn but not very often
