I really enjoy your wisdom. As for someone one that got told by their ex that every time they look at my legs they wish I were thin. I struggled with my body image ever since, I want to lose weight and to improve myself but when I happen to lose pounds I also feel so guilty. because even if I'm not losing pounds for him, it still feels like I am, this makes me no longer have peace with myself. And from someone I trusted so much, it feels like its the actual truth. How does one deal and walk past that with people like that in their lives?

Oh yeah I relate to this, my ex made comments about my body as well. That’s why they’re exes right?! Haha. I think it’s just something that comes with time. I realized he was projecting his own insecurities onto me, and I do not have time to be responsible for two peoples’ insecurities. It’s much easier said than done but once you stop caring what people think about your body you will be so much happier. No one is going to talk about how thick your thighs were at your funeral, I promise 😉 I knowww it’s cliche but that dr Seuss quote comes to mind, “those who matter don’t mind and those who mind don’t matter”
