I love that when she was doig these videos, she didn't mean for them to be asmr. She is just such a naturally calming person. I still watch these and many other old videos to put me to sleep. I wish I could thank her personally for the peace of mind she has given me.

One of my favorite reasons for watching these videos is how you take such pleasure in the little things. Like opening up the makeup mirror to enjoy the beauty and light reflections under the powder puff. So many of these little pleasures we take for granted simply because the market is saturated with mass-production products, but you still take the time to enjoy the little details and it helps me to slow down and enjoy the little things in my life too. Thank you!

Your voice is not tedious, it is beautiful, like singing. I sleep because it reminds me of the caring voice of a mother, and I feel safe and at home.
@heathercook49397 жыл бұрын
TonicalYoutubing i know exactly what you mean. I grew up without a mother and her voice and humming make me feel like this is what it would have been to have been cared for by a mother.

I love all your videos, but there's something special about your "tedious stuff" videos. I enjoy how much you enjoy the little things in life that are often taken for granted.

I remember watching this video when I was 15 and a sophomore in high school when it first came out. Now I’m turning 29 in two weeks and I just put my almost 10 year old son to bed and am watching this video again (among many other old favorites from you) to wind down for the night before going to sleep myself. ❤

What an incredible voice. You have such a natural delivery that I just relax automatically, even when you don't attach 'ASMR' to your titles. For all of us 'stressed' out people, you are an angel. I work in mental health and tell people to watch your videos to relax. You, and a few others, have provided me with hours of de-stressing. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.

Your videos have helped tremendously with my anxiety. I play them every time I feel an attack coming on. My favs are this one and the tea with the box of spoons.
@heathercook49397 жыл бұрын
Lane Crescent they help tremendously with my anxiety too. I have had a very difficult day and my anxiety meds have not been a great help. Listening to her soothing voice and positive outlook and playfulness have worked wonders on me. I used to listen only to intentional ASMR artists, but she comes across as more sincere and it calms me so much. I've been a fan for a couple of years. She is a true gift and a dear friend, especially to those of us suffering from anxiety disorders.

This is one of the only asmr videos I like with a voice. It usually makes me feel super uncomfortable awkward to have someone talk in my ear like asmr videos feel like but this one is great! I'm not sure why exactly but something about the "1+1=4" comment about families reminded me SO STRONGLY of stuff my grandmother would say to me as a kid. I think that's why her voice is so relaxing to me, her mannerisms and speaking cadence remind me of my grandmother. I love your videos! They're so positive and cheerful! Thank you very much!

ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. It's a medical condition that some people get where they have "triggers" to feel a kind of pleasurable tingling down the back of their spine and trough their body. These triggers are things like tapping, watching someone do a task, gentle touch, and speaking softly and slowly. I'm sure you know many find your videos very soothing (as do I), and those with ASMR may find your videos as a trigger because they are so soothing. Hope this helps. :)

I don't understand why your reasonable question has negative votes. Many people outside the asmr community don't know what it stands for: the tingly feeling certain sounds etc give you. It usually starts at your scalp and tingles all down your spine. Very relaxing and pleasant. Varies with different people, some don't feel it at all, most do.

It is a word used to show a type of thing, as a place or 'scene'. Like the stage for which a group of people performs in life. For example, the common ASMR scene is young-women whispering with the camera on their face.
