I dont usually comment on things like this, but having sleep problems a doctor suggest asmr may help relax before sleep. I've tried many asmr on here and many are forced and seem unnatural, however your videos are just perfect for me, they just infuse your listeners with your joy and knowledge and passion for anything you do....If you can put me to sleep talking about making tea...I just have to say thank you.

I also love the videos were you show stuff from China, what beautiful artwork they have, everything looks slow, beautiful and deliberate. We are too fast here in America, we need to slow down. My dream is to one day visit China ans Japan. I would be in Heaven!

Hello, I´m new here. What means blablabla and asmr? I cannot find something about it. Blablabla means in german "Talking without sense"..Thx for your answer! :-)
@yanghaiying10 жыл бұрын
Blablabla means talking without sense, or self talking. ASMR is a key word for some views searching for that.

can you tell me, have you tried the solid pans, like kuratake gambai tansi? I wonder how it compares to using maries watercolor. I so love my inexpensive japanese brushes, and I dream of trying some of those brushes you show. I do just regular watercolor with them. I have lost my brush with the red hair which is my favorite tree's grass and fur. and someone liked my water pot so much that they took it. Its the second one that was taken. I think it is little kids that take them. I need another that is very small. I hope you have a lovely winter holiday.

Is there some significance to "101" in Chinese culture ? Like the Taipei 101 building?
@yanghaiying8 жыл бұрын
Is there anything significant to 101? I do not understand to begin with. Would you like to elaborate?
@Stan_sprinkle8 жыл бұрын
+yanghaiying the ink stick you show at the beginning of the video is labeled 101. I just wondered of the number 101 has some history or significance
@yanghaiying8 жыл бұрын
I have searched online. As far as I can find, 101 is the best. There are 102, 103, 104. This could be an anecdotal story. The numbering system was a new thing starting from 1970s. The traditional way of calling them are in Chinese, 五石漆烟,超贡烟,贡烟,顶烟, according to its ingredients. In order to avoid the feudalism vocabulary, the factory changed into the number system. Actually, there is only a couple of ink manufactories using this numbering. Some other factories still use the Chinese vocabulary. In short, 101 is best quality from one manufacture, but if you not see 101, it could be also the best quality, but from a different manufacture. Thank you for asking this question. This is the thing that bothered me always also.
@lekoman5 жыл бұрын
Taipei 101 is called that because it's 101 stories tall. I don't think the number is significant in terms of the number of floors in the building, other than being 1 more than 100.
