It is good that you talk about these questions and give honest answers. 1. Price is subjective and relative. Support you for not appraising dogs.

2. Veterinary clinic or hospital visit can be expensive. Dogs are like family members. If financially capable, sick dogs should be taken to vet for examination and treatment, otherwise, do some research online, or ask help from local community. I have seen posts in social media platform asking people to donate money for a sick dog to go through some expensive surgeries. A friend of mine spent over $20,000 to treat her dog with cancer.

3. Good question, why do you have to take in all the abandoned dogs? You are not running a charitable organization or an animal shelter, nor do you have time, energy and money to care for the abandoned dogs. Some people are selfish and self-centered, they don't put themselves in others' shoes.

4. I agree with you that if a dog breeder only cares for quick money, without love for dogs, then s/he cannot be a good and responsible breeder. I personally will choose a breeder like you and your sister. Respect lives and be kind to one another (or animals) are crucial to a society.

5. I totally support you on your dog price decision. That shows how much you value your dogs and care for their future (less chance to be abandoned). Your pricing makes people serious in their decision to buy your dogs.

6. Reading people's inquiry takes time. You have your life and work. You are not obligated to answer anyone's questions. When people do receive a reply from you with information and opinion, they should be grateful. Nothing should be taken for granted.

Getting a dog is for life, not a toy that got thrown away when get bored with it. One do not get rid of an adopted child when he/she got sick or get naughty. Thank you Yuenfai for giving excellent advice about dog breading and looking after them.
