I recently bought four new blades to try out, Stiga Nostalgic OC, Stiga Nostalgic VII, Butterfly Innerforce Layer ZLC, and Butterfly Apolonia ZLC. Really like the two butterfly ones with Tenergy 05/80 (forehand/backhand), they're basically the same blades with a bit difference in color and shape. The Stiga Nostalgic OC plays very well with Hurricane 8 on the fore hand, but I haven't found a good backhand rubber for it yet, might be swapping on the GoldArc 5 to see. The Stiga Nostalgic VII is also a nice blade, but it feels a bit too stiff for me, it feels almost like my Butterfly Viscaria. Now I'm using mostly the two butterfly blades, one at home one at work, so I don't need to remember to bring it with me everyday. Also the handle of the Stiga blades is just a bit too thin for me, while the Butterfly ones feels just right. Btw, Hangzhou in snow is so pretty, haven't been there for years.

Aren't there 2 styles of penhold rackets Japanese/korean penhold and Chinese penhold?

Japanese/ Korean penhold I believe is where there is no rubber on the backside. Chinese penhold most the time is a shorter handle but there is rubber on the backside. And its becoming more common to see a reverse backhand penhold player.

What is sad, is that the intermediate level achieved by a 10 year old in China is superior to 99.9 percent of all American leisure players I have seen. Including myself :.)
