I’m excited to see an occasional candle review. I always enjoy them. It always amazes me all the different types of “fandoms,” for lack of a better word, it shouldn’t surprise me that there is a candle enthusiast group out there.

It was great to see you post this video Doug! Thanks for going over the new fall collection. A few of them sound interesting. Yankee would do themselves a favor if they put Pumpkin Wreath back in the fall lineup. For now, I’ll check out some of the new melt cups. I hope you and your family are doing well. I'm always so interested to hear your opinions on new Yankee collections, particularly fall releases. Please keep reviewing fragrances now and then. I was wondering if you ever got to smell Toasted Pumpkin Treats? I ordered this and did not think it smelled at all like I expected. So it might go back for an exchange. This year I stayed away from the more conceptual fresh/cologne scents. Fallen Leaves does sound beautiful though and that might be what I replace Toasted Pumpkin Treats with. Very helpful. Thanks! 🎃

I have melted it since posting and yes, it's Pumpkin Wreath almost exactly. Just a hint more apple. On melt I don't even get the smoke. Just a slightly more apply pumpkin wreath

Missed this yesterday, but excited for some of these scents! Campfire Apples and Fallen Leaves sound amazing! Autumn Wreath and Apple Pumpkin are my go-tos every year. I'm surprised you don't get much smell from the Apple Pumpkin. It's usually one of the strongest ones I get. But you're right, some of Yankee's candles have been inconsistent over the years, and we usually only buy the two-wick, so I have mostly been buying BBW. I'm burning Silver Birch right now, but I can barely smell it. Curious to see how Yankee's 3-wicks burn and try the melt cups. Will you be doing a review of BBW candles as well? Love BBW's Leaves!

I wish I got more out of pumpkin apple usually but sadly i dont :/ My three wick is pretty good though! I hope to do some BBW candles this year if I can catch a good sale. I do have some of the fall classics already review on my Hauling Wax channel, though

@@SpookyVillages well, this review convinced me to order almost the whole fall collection in melts to try, lol. I'll order the 3-wick versions of the ones I like since the nearest YC is almost 2 hrs from me. But I still plan on heading to BBW though for the new haunted house wallflower and new Halloween/fall scents.

I now put all my Yankee candles on the top warmer, candle lamp. It takes an hour to pool out instead of SIX and it makes the smell more intense!💗💗💗

I am tempted to try some of these but gosh Yankee candle is always so expensive and I tend to just get the Bath and Bodyworks ones once they are on sale. But maybe this year I’ll try something different!

Yankee melt cups are great and are pretty cheap, especially if on sale. Can't go wrong with them!

Hmmm....that Sparkling Fireflies is an odd concept. Both with it's scent and being a Fall offering. I really think of fireflies as more of a Summer thing. I love the label, and I may purchase it to burn as a Summer candle. Now Fallen Leaves sounds like something that I am really going to go for. In addition to your fragrance description, I really, really like the label. I think it is going to be the star of the show for me. I can hardly believe that mentally I am gearing up for Fall and Halloween. I don't know why I should be surprised though....every year just after the Fourth Of July this happens. A little Summer goes a long way with me. I thrive in the Fall.

I’ve had the same feelings about yankee since last year. I refuse to buy single wick large jars anymore. They all burn terribly. The two wick tumblers haven’t been bad. I was going to pass on YC Fall this year, but the Buy 2 Get 2 persuaded me.

Yep, no more single wicks outside of the Halloween jars. I dont trust them and even the ones that work take a year to pool out!

The only scent I did not care for was Autumn Embers....it was not what I was expecting. It’s too rich for me. I swear, I get a very strong tobacco note that is overpowering. Maybe I got a bad batch. But I’m returning it 🤣

I know you say you don’t burn some candles because you can’t smell them, so what do you do instead? Or how do you know if it is going to have a nice burn to it?

I do burn all of my candles but with Yankee, most of the standard jars are just not strong. I usually just suck it up and burn a crappy candle, so I can't help you much there. Just stay away from the 1 wick yankees!

Well, I really haven't been burning candles since last fall. I am only now just getting into it again slowly. The Yankee 3 wicks have worked! Outside of that, the occassional Kringle or BBW candle seems to work!

@@SpookyVillages Ok, thanks for the info. Last year I had some issues with Yankee Candle. Some wouldn't pool all the way even with 7 hours of continual burn. I even had one that would burn itself out after 30 minutes, which was weird. I was just curious what you had to say, especially since you are the reason I kinda got into both candles and the miniature villages.

Because sadly Yankee in Candle form has absolutely no smell!!
