I enjoyed this video so much!!! The beautiful weather just makes a person happy. I loved seeing that older couple out hiking and being active. After I watched this, I called my 92 year old grandmother to tell her how much I love her. She worked hard all of her life in KY in tobacco until she was 82. The older generation were very proud and dedicated people for sure.

We go to the mountains twice a year. We always eat at Bennets and Flapjacks each trip. Love, love love Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg!!! We keep season tickets to Dolly wood. A good tip is to buy them in December. That way you get two Christmas trips out of one season pass. If you've never eat at the back porch cafe in dollywood, you're missing out on the best meal of your life! The turkey and dressing and sweet potatoes are unbelievable! Love your videos :)

I’m curious-do you guys know where the Riverhouse Motor Lodge was? The motel on the river in town next to the Christus Gardens on river road that burned down? That’s where we went every year since the 70s but it burned down. Last time I was there was on my honeymoon 4 weeks after the fire and was staying there but had to stay at Riverhouse on the park instead. Was curious if they finally completely leveled it.

We love Bennett’s and eat there once or twice every time we go to G-burg! Do they still have the deep-fried corn-on-the-cob? That is a great hiking area. I don’t think we ever did the entire loop there at Bud Ogles, but we hiked the Rainbow Falls and loved it. We hiked it in the morning right after a snowfall and the sun was shining through the branches and the snow just sparkled. It was so quiet and we ran across deer along the way (no bear, thank goodness! Lol!) The whole experience on that hike felt heavenly😊 God Bless✝️
