I met Gabriel Iglesias at a luau on Thanksgiving. He and his group were seated at the table next to mine, and at one point my brother and Gabriel's best friend Martin ended up onstage in grass skirts and coconut bras. Three months later, I went to his show in Seattle. Afterward, he went out to the merchandise table and stuck around until everyone who wanted an autograph got one. When I got up there, he took one look at me and said, "You were at Germaine's Luau on Thanksgiving last year." I was so shocked he remembered me and then he showed me some pictures he took where I'm in the background drinking pina coladas.

I was very blessed to have Desi neighbors when I was in middle school. One story I can recall was getting a ride to school with the mom and the daughter who was my age and in my classes. Mom was chiding daughter in Hindi and of course I didn’t understand a word of it, hehe Very good neighbors, very lovely people. They moved to another city within the area.. no idea if they still live here. That was over 30 years ago but I still miss them.

Dutch person here. I loved watching you enjoy Fluffy. He is so funny and great with accents, tone of voice and mimic. He is also very sweet in how respectfull he makes smart fun about everything and everyone. Sometimes you can see it comming, and you watch him in joyfull horror, but then it gets even more hilarious! It was lovely to see you really appriciate all the parts of his show. We do use headlights to communicate in the US, at least in rural areas as its most effective on two-lane highways. We flash our high beams at incoming vehicles to let them know that there is an obstruction or danger ahead for them. It is also at times used to warn about a police officer looking for speeders.

I had a blast living in West Germany, late 80's. Most older people were awesome, most younger people were rude. Everywhere we went someone would take my baby girl off to feed her literally everything and dance with her (at festivals and parties) . At the firemans festival they had her dancing and stomping in the tables singing Ole. She was 1 year old, 24 days old when we arrived in Germany. The people of Germany suffered horrors too. The evidence is everywhere visible to the naked eye.

I am a mexican man who works with an older tailor from india. He is one of my favorite people in the world. We also bonded over spicy fokd because we are the only ones ibt he shop who can properly handle it. 😂 The bit about the head movements too is sooo on point. if you haven't yet, catch Jeff Dunham. we DO have a headlight blinkie code, but it's rarely used. you'll get a double on-off for a "proceed" sometimes if you're turning; a quick highbeam flash means "COP!" and I've occasionally seen a trucker's acknowlegement blink as well. and yes, some of us DO tromp on it through a yellow if we're close enough.

My wife’s father took me to visit their family in India for the first time last December. It was an amazing experience. Food was of course amazing and the roads were terrifying for a while. We were in Tamil Nadu and also kerala. Luckily we had a driver for our adventures. Even though we went to places where my wife said the people may have never seen a whole person in real life before I never felt out of place. Everybody was very nice, even though communication was very limiting. I can’t wait to go back.

I'm a big fan of Indian food, full spice and not that mild crap, especially curry. I recently found out my favorite dish, Chicken Tikka Masala, doesn't even come from India. Apparently a chef from Bangladesh opened an Indian restaurant in Scotland and invented the dish on the fly. I was shocked.

Your reaction to crazy cab drivers reminds me of helping my Indian roommate take a car to his daughter so she could drive to school. I was driving on the freeway about 80 miles an hour. I come up behind a slow moving semi and pass it with 10 feet to spare. He's going aaaàaaahhhh. After that he wouldn't let me drive. When we got to his daughter's place they wanted me to build some things. I started cutting the pieces and my roommates father in law asked where the plans were. I told him they were in my head. I later learned that he thought I was a genius, because I can make things without plans. I considered it to be high praise. I enjoy Indian food and it's nice, because my roommate is a great Indian cook. I had to insist he tone the heat down, because many white folk can't stand it as much as I can. It isn't hot unless your eyes water, your nose runs and you sweat profusely. Love your reactions. Gabriel is a funny guy who does great imitations. It was particularly funny to me, because I have interacted with many Indians and Mexicans where I live. They are great people.

Spent a lot of time in India. Life begins at sunrise till 10am then everyone except tourist's are indoors until after dark. My favourite bar in Baga is the Cavala at 9pm it's just starting to come to life. By 10 it's bouncing
