I recently attended a fund raiser where Michael Irvin was the main speaker. It was a lot of political back patting and getting really boring. It was getting late, and Michael came in and lit up the crowd!!! He's an excellent speaker, and he has a lot more substance than people think. In addition, if you knew more about his childhood, He's very sincere in the cause that evening. He was a kid who didn't have decent shoes to play sports, and he vowed for other kids not to have to feel like he did as a young athlete who was ridiculed because he had torn up shoes.
