The Red Sox are not that team anymore. They are actually laughable and a clown show of a team. The fans are passionate yeah but that ownership has turned that allure into basically no one wants to play for the Sox anymore, they are not serious. You can "be in" and make bids and offers but what usually gets the deal done is money and seriousness, the Sox lack both. You guys are in mediocrity for a while until a major shift in that ownership and whoever runs the club changes.
