This guy has all the right tools to be a nightmare for major league pitchers. Reminds me a little like Ohtani. He's got a great promising future with the Yankees. Can't wait for them to bring him up soon. Imagine him, Dominguez and Judge in the outfield. That sends shivers down anybody's spine!

Irrelevant. Same as with Judge. If you're batting around .300, and a power hitter, striking out doesn't really matter. Judge is in the middle of perhaps a top 10 all time season and he's gonna have like 180 strikeouts before it is done.

Why do people make stupid comments like that? Gallo is an awful hitter who does literally one and only one thing well. Jones is a freak athlete with plus speed, plus PLUS defense and bats around .300 Judge strikes out a lot and hits bombs too, are you dumb enough to have thought he was Gallo 2.0 at one time too?

@@snerdterguson Actually Gallo is good fielder. I'm hoping Jones will be much better, but he has SO 33% of AB in the minors and batting .270 so the comment above is not totally unfounded.

I mean, sure, if you ignore reality, you are correct. Of course, in reality, the Yankees call guys up all the time and almost always at an age below the average debut age for an MLB player. But they don't just call guys up for no reason. Jones is an outfielder, and if you want him getting ABs, he needs to be starting regularly, and the only outfielder the Yankees have who he is an upgrade over is Grisham, who gets in maybe 1-2 games a week and usually as a defensive replacement.
