I just got through the RailRiders game, with my eyes on the pitchers. the won the game 2-1, but honesty, they could use the help. If all they traded away was cash, I think it was a great deal. You can NEVER have too much pitching.

Even though they went outside the org. they did it with cash. I think that's a lot different that giving up young arms to get an arm . So I think it's a pretty good move . One of these Glass Joe reliever's will fail eventually so it's good to have backup .

The Ray's are overloaded with bullpen arms. Brewer threw a great few innings in spring training .He's good and can help.atleast until others are off the injured list .His breaking stuff is off the charts , he has so much movement now.He always has had the movement but its gone to another level since he was here last.

Can anyone explain why the day after Opening Day, most of the league has a day off? It seems like every season they have to scramble to schedule makeup games. And every single year, they do this nonsense on day 2 of the season. No reason the first week of the season can't be fully scheduled.

I'm pretty sure the reason is because it's such a long and tedious season I mean 162 games that they try to ease the teams into so what they do is they get them started off on the first game and then let them take that in the second day and then blast them with full schedules the following day, but I understand what you're saying.

I mean when he said he had a trade in the works I wasn't expecting something so little to come out of it I mean a relief pitcher that really never brought anything to the table I mean what his rookie year was 2018 and I looked up his stats didn't seem too good to me but yes you make a good point this spring he did pretty good so what that means what that translates into the regular-season we will have no idea we're just going to have to see how he works out but I just don't like what the Yankees are doing right now I thought they were going to go out and try and get a starting pitcher to help out the rotation because we've been plagued with injuries that's just what's going on right now but it seems like cashman is not the cashman of old he is just getting too old and doesn't know how to get a good trade done these days I mean back in the day when the boss was alive teams and players were lining up to be traded to the Yankees he can go out and do business with the best of them and come out with a superior picture if he needed one or even a superior outfielder or infielder if we really needed one but cashman is over to hill behind him he is not impressive anymore and he's just not a good businessman anymore he's not good for business for the New York Yankees anymore I am not a fan of cashman at the moment as you can tell because he's really done nothing for this offseason like seriously he's done nothing the whole Aaron judge thing he didn't have any part of that that was all Aaron judge and the ownership and Aaron judges teammates and friends and family that made that happen. Nothing to do with cashman and I believe still if the boss was still alive we would have got that Rodon deal done a lot sooner because cashman really took his time on that one and we probably would have had another All-Star Cy Young type starting pitcher on the team, but as you can tell yeah just not a Brian cashman fan anymore I think he just needs to be taken to the farm and set free I think this business is done with him he's over to hill and was just put him out to pasture and move on to somebody who knows how to do real business it's hard these days man because it's not the way it used to be back in the day like when everybody wanted to be a New York Yankee but these days people are just happy to be on any team and not many players want to be a Yankee anymore and the Yankees are not willing to spend money the way the boss Mr George steinbrenner God bless was willing to spend on the team to make sure we brought home a world series as much as we could gave us as much chance more chance than any other team in sports but we don't have that anymore his kids are not built like him, stays healthy enough and then gets healthy to try and make a run for a championship but this is not the same yankee team as the one I grew up with. SMH. Oh and by the way do you guys remember back in the offseason when they signed Aaron judge and everything was good and then they just signed Carlos rodon and then they teased us and said oh yeah we still got one more big thing in the works, but then nothing ever happened I mean they really hyped that one up really big for nothing to happen I mean talking about teasing the hell out us. IDK man I'm just disappointed with the front office it just not the same as they used to be and just it's frustrating

Your gut instinct forms an ache that, apparently, doesn't hit Cashman. A club doesn't just unload someone who had a good Spring for nothing . . . just for cash ! Do YOU smell those fish ?
