Vientos is making his case for being the 3B full time. If he stays healthy and keeps hitting like this, then Baty may need to find a new way onto the big club.

Baty has been playing 2B in the minors as of late, and his hitting has improved as well. He might replace McNeil if anything, which I'm 100% ok with.

Its frustrating how he can make a great play like he did on Volpe in the 1st and then have an error on a surefire double play ball. He mashes though so its forgivable. I just hope he gets better over time.

This Yankees are playing terrible getting swept 🧹 by the Mets. Losing every series in June. What happened to Luis Gil, Yankees most dependable starting pitcher. If the Orioles didn’t go through a 5 games losing streak, Yankees would be in second place 2-3 games out first place. If Cashman doesn’t work on fixing the holes or flaws in Yankees with key players in trade deadline it could be unfortunately another disappointing season.

Guys I am new to baseball so forgive me if my question sounds stupid, but why did during both team's last outs of the first innings did the runner at third base not continue to run to home base and score a run? From what I understand, even if a batter gets ground out or fly out, if the runner at 3rd (or any other base) is able to reach the home base without the opposing team grounding out the baserunner, then the run should be counted. Is it a rule that the run has to be scored before all 3 outs in an inning? Like if a flyout Or ground out occurs while the runner was between the third and the fourth base and the out completed the 3 outs of the innings, even if the runner reached the home base later it won't be counted? Is my understanding correct or am I missing something here?

In a hypothetical David Morales summary for the video titled "Yankees vs. Mets Subway Series: Jay-Z Family with Rhoda in Money Move with Roc Nation," we delve into two exciting narratives: the on-field action of the iconic New York baseball rivalry and the off-field business ventures involving Jay-Z's family and Roc Nation. The summary starts by highlighting the key moments from the Yankees vs. Mets game, part of the historic Subway Series. It captures the intense competition, featuring standout performances from both teams, crucial hits, and strategic plays that shaped the game's outcome. The excitement and atmosphere of this local rivalry are vividly brought to life. Transitioning to the off-field events, the summary details the involvement of Jay-Z's family, particularly Rhoda, in a significant business move with Roc Nation. Since 2006, Jay-Z has been deeply integrated into Roc Nation, a major player in the sports and entertainment industries. The summary explores how Rhoda's role and the latest financial maneuver reflect the ongoing evolution and influence of Roc Nation. It emphasizes the synergy between Jay-Z's entrepreneurial efforts and the cultural impact of major sporting events like the Subway Series.

It’s always nice seeing your son get humbled. Dad let son win the season series to try and boost his son’s confidence, but instead his son got too cocky. Nice series Mets, but don’t expect Houston to come to town and look like an amateur roster like the Yankees did.

I think the teams must have switched uniforms. The Mets are playing like Yankees, and vice versa.

Did you Know JD Martinez...the last year on the Red Sox They tried Trading for Mark Vientos.😂 After this series you can see why! Instead the Mets now have Vientos & Martinez.✨

Truth is, the Mets like the braves, caught the yanks in a slump🤨😏

The Mets have also been playing much better baseball since that Dodgers series, which is almost a month past now (May 29th, 17-6 record since then), so we cannot just chalk this up to "catching them in a slump". Fact is, the Mets would have given the Yankees fits both games, even if they had been at their strongest.

@@2097Pyros Mets definitely get credit, but obviously Cole is calibrating and Yankees are slumping. Still, I never consider a subway series rivalry an easy win, so yeah Yankees going to have to throw down to revenge this 2 game spanking.
