Yanmar 3 cyl fuel to injection pump but no fuel to injectors Solenoid shutoff likely is the culprit.

Yanmar 3 cyl diesel engine 3TNV76-QIK fuel not getting to the injectors. Blown 20 amp fuse. disclosure - if you are not sure on what you are doing please ask a mechanic to help. This video is of how I fixed my no start issue with my IHI NX25 mini excavator, it is not a recommendation from me to you to do the same. explore at your own risk. I learned the difference between marine diesel and construction diesel injection pumps (might be wrong but it makes sense) marine injection pump solenoids fail in the run position, construction equipment solenoids fail in the off position. The excavator has to have the solenoid charged in order to allow fuel to pass through the pump. For a quick test I removed the solenoid and started the excavator and it started right up, to shut it down I pushed the flapper (see video) in and it cut the fuel supply off. My solenoid tricked me as when engaging the key it snapped back but after 1 second it popped back open (bad solenoid). Make sure that you have fuel going into the injection pump. I took the fuel line off and turned the ignition on and fuel started leaking out as the primer pump was on and pushing fuel through. you can also listen for fuel returning back into the fuel tank when the ignition is on (unless you have a full tank)...
The next video I will put up will be of the water pump replacement. I'm not sure yet if I will have to remove the radiators....

Mine is loosing prime, sometimes, when I got it the injector pump gear was off, and I don't know how to time the stupid thing, help me please

I searched Google for my motor 3TNV76 manual and on ManualsLib.com they have the manual look on page 164 or 7-18. I hope that helps you out.
