Merci encore !

i always spend so much time and sweat to make those videos watchable that when i read kind comments like yours , i feel rewarded a hundredfold, thank you so very much . Komodo had obviously always been on my bucket list , since the very beginning . Now that i have discovered this gem, i wish i had been there much earlier but at the same time I'm also delighted to realise that the underwater world never fails to amaze me. The diving in Komodo is indeed spectacular , the dive sites truly gorgeous . So much variety ,so rich and so colorful , you were spoilt to dive there right after your course and i definitely understand why it is still one of your favorites . 🙏

World class production! Doreen and you are so talented! I have just returned from Komodo but due to conditions missed some top rated sites 🙁🐟.
@SearenityQuest11 ай бұрын
Thank you so much once more my dear Radek . So sorry to learn that you missed some good sites , do you mean Batu Bolong and the Northern ones , rough conditions current wise or weather wise?
@czele12311 ай бұрын
@@SearenityQuest Yes, due to very strong currents and some rain up north we didn’t venture to north sites and we also for safety reasons we didn’t dive Batu Bolong. We were geared up on location but the dive was canceled unfortunately due to violent looking currents. I visited Komodo in 2019 during full moon and we managed fine, this time we avoided full Moon but turns out New Moon is more less equal to full moon as far as currents 😳. We visited during their rain season - manta season which rewarded us seeing 18 mantas!
@SearenityQuest11 ай бұрын
@@czele123 So sad to hear , thank God you had already dove those sites before , the currents can indeed be very treacherous over there and should be dealt with utmost respect , that's why the Komodo dive guides need to be super experienced . I agree with you about the moon phases , new or full is about the same . I experienced those ' Spring currents ' once in Palau during new moon and the conditions were very rough and unstable . On this last trip though , the only unmanageable current i experienced was in Nusa Penida and not in Komodo . Wow , 18 mantas at once , i never saw that many in the same time , that must be quite a show . Take care Radek , it was nice sharing this with you .
@czele12311 ай бұрын
@@SearenityQuest Yes, very true about currents and experience of local dive guides. Oh well , another reason to return to Komodo to visit again! I will watch your video “ few” more times to look for inspiration while I sort out 200GB of footage I came home with….. Until next time, happy diving and take care as well.

This was a real nice surprise really , we spotted those Blue Lined Sea Bream (Symphorichthys spilurus) at the very beginning of the dive at the fantastic Castle rock dive site at around 45 metres , quite rare encounter ! Palau has the biggest spawning congregation of this species on the blue planet !
