Yanni greets fans in Las Vegas [All Access: Season 3, Episode 6]

I'm going to reveal a hidden issue about how Yanni was placed into my life. I was in a hospital for major depression, PTSD, and suicidal ideations. I was so not into life. A nurse loaned me a CD of Yanni and I began to cry so hard. His music touched my soul like no other person. Not even the Dr' s that were trying to treat me. I became very sensitive to the instrumental music and I started to see a bit of light in my journey through mental illness. I was fortunate to see this artist live in concert in Washington State at a natural amphitheater . The stage was near Soap Lake, on the Columbia River. My twin sister and some great friends sat on a grass hill n listened to the most awesome and beautiful music that touched my soul. That was in 1994 or 1995. I have not stopped listening to this great artist who helped save my life. My sister and I have collected so much of his music from around the world. Yanni is truly unique n special. His music relaxes me when no one can. I'm so thankful for the nurse at Salem Oregon Hospital for taking a few moments of her time to let me listen to one of her own CD' s . I'm still struggling with mental illness, but I'm still alive n enjoying every piece of Yanni' s music and videos. He has a wonderful perspective of our planet n all the different cultures. He is a true gift from God.

Yanni is awesome in so many ways (heart, character, voice, talent, looks, personality, etc) So glad I attended his concert in 2004 at the Don Haskins center in El Paso, Tx. That night will always be remembered and cherished!! Thank you, Yanni for sharing such beautiful and inspiring music. Best wishes to you always!!!
