Thank you very much viewers for your nice comments about my music.I was just relaxing myself on the the instrument not actually playing.I hope that one day you would see me playing seriously on youtube. Thank you folks, Aaron.

This is a traditional yet very foundational Dagaaba song. Aaron can play this in his sleep, so very basic to him. A great song for intermediate players of the Gyil to learn. The variations explored around 2:30 show what this man is capable of! Every xylophone song has a core rhythm/melody that the musician can then adapt. It's the timeless beauty of poly-rhythm!

I've studied this song before. It's really interesting to see how everybody has their own ways of playing it. But this shot is perfect for me to take and learn it, adding to what i already have. Thanks a lot.

Years ago I played this as part of my A Level Music performance in the UK. I knew very little about it's origins. I'd love to know more about it. Aaron - you play this about 2348927350927 times better than I managed!

Aaron is the man! Do you guys know of any organized American gyil scene? I love in Colorado, am an avid player, and would love to network. Akwaaba!
