Jazak Allahu Khair ... I enjoyed this lecture just one caveat ... you fell into same intellectual pit as many other dua'ats over over romanticizing our Muslim history. You should have mentioned how Muslim scholars tried their utmost to block printing press coming to Muslim lands, how they banned coffee, and how till this day their major scholars who argue for geo-centrism being backed by Qur'an.

ahmarsidd - dear friend they banned the printing press because the ink used was produced from alcohol and the debate was to print holy scriptures using the press.

ahmarsidd it's true they did, but that was a relatively recent scholarship and was not the methodology of the muslims for centuries, we didn't get so far in history by the scholars closing their minds down.

if Islam can build industries and individuals and maintain economies and ethics it would have done that in their main cities of medina and Makkah. Those cultures and evolutions were created by the ethnic people of those cecities and all Islam did was stealing them it calling it theirs. Those countries and civilizations today are only prospering because ethnics got it back from Muslims and all the countries that stayed under the Islamic law today are on the edge of collapse and poverty like Syria, Iraq , Egypt and Lebanon.

Islam promoted the acquisition of knowledge while before it came everyone was busy burying their daughter in the sand, wasting their resources on pointless rituals and blaming women for witchcraft because the priests said so. Sure they were some preislamic scholars but theire works would never come to light if it wasn't for the open mindest of islam in research and translation.

I'm from morocco, the country is more berber than arab and they both don't get along on somethings but we both agree on the truth of islam and as proof of it many famous scholars were moroccan berbers who didn't have an issue with islam.

Lets remind you that most of the arab world was colonized by European powers during the last two centuries which did not only stole all the countries wealth and resources but also destabilized the political environment in the area by drawing borders that didn't make anyone happy except for the Europeans.

That's a stupid argument to make in first place. You didn't provide any evidence to refute his argument but rather made an empty statement. As far as ur allegations that Muslims stole ethics and economic development from the West, you are simply mistaken my friend. You seem to be completely ignorant of European history. European were barbarians back then. Even today if u study reasons behind European prosperity, you would come to know how Europe got rich and continues yo maintain its prosperity. Europe stole trillions from its colonies. Exploited and killed millions to maintain its power and hegemony. U talked about Syria, Iraq, Egypt being backword, buy u forgot to mention Why? West has a long history of installing its puppets to protect its interests at the cost of that country's economic well being. How many Muslim countries has west Invaded in just last 5 decades? Talking about Makkah, West uses its most powerful weapon 'Media' to disseminate propaganda and push false narrative and to brainwash its general public. Otherwise ordinary people would not allow their governments to go exploit and kill million for more power and influence. West is still confused. U talked about stealing ethics, how can u loot or rob a bankrupt person? U just heard European kings couldn't even spell their names and they put Gallileo under house arrest for promoting research and science? What are u smoking man. What could Muslim world steele from ignorant Europe? Europeans used to come to Baghdad which was formerly known as center of knowledge. Europeans used to come to Muslim spain to acquire knowledge. If they were already enlightened why were they going to Muslim Spain and Baghdad. U just ignored before renaissance Europe had hardly produced any scientist. Muslims have led the world for about 1000 years. West has been in power for about 300 years now. Nothing lasts forever, Muslim world would rise again.

Why not tell your American audience your prophet hated democracy and loved young girls. His second wife wife was only 6 when he mounted her. Small wonder our founding fathers Jefferson, John Adam and son John Quincy Adam described Islam as an abomination, a view shared by almost all Western thinker and philosophers.
