And in every life situation, He wishes to hear our du’as. Constantly seeking the aid of Allah through du’a guarantees an answer that will bring great blessings in this life and the next.

When you sit to recite the Quran, your phone will ring. When you stand to pray two rak’ah(s), a message will ping you. When you intend to do a righteous act, a distraction or disturbance will surface. Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) said, “When the servant embarks on a devotional act, Allah sends diversions to him to test his truthfulness. If he fights, endures, and stands his ground, these diversions are soon replaced by that which assists him in devotion.”

I recently went to a conference regarding Du'a and the speaker said that Allah (swt) can answer your prayers to save you from future calamities. For example, if you didn't get that new car you prayed for, it could mean that Allah (swt) has saved you from an accident that was written for you in that same car. This not only shows that Allah (swt) HAS answered your du'a, but it also means that du'a can change your fate.

Death seems scary.. I always asked for Jannah in my prayers but I tried not to think too much about dying. These series teach us so much about the day of judgment, and as much as the punishment of Allah scares me I sort of started feeling excited and more ready for that day to come because there's so many things that can help us enter paradise :) Everyday I keep telling my husband what I've learnt subhanallah. Trying to understand this blessed wisdom that is beyond human comprehension as we, humans are creatures that need instant gratification and something tangible and seen, but part of true Iman is believing in the unseen which is part of the Divine essence. Death of parents,...is a TEST for every child to START doing sadaqah jariah without any delay(build lots of waterwell for the needy communities,participate in mosque building project,invest your money in WAQF fund, feed the fasting for iftar meal etc) this will reap up huge rewards , happinesss to benefit the dead in their graves....Amin❤️🌈 this is how you should help your parents in their journey to the next world(sadaqah is the way to open the door of jannah)...

Du'a is composed of 2 things: San'a (praise of Allah) + Talab (request from Allah). Always remember to praise Allah before you request something from him. Wish I had learnt this in my youth ... Du'a may be stored for you as treasure in the hereafter if they do not get answered in your lifetime... Subhan'Allah

This is so powerful. Because after going to college and stud my head off to become and nurse. But I keep failing twice and finally kick out of the program and I couldn't understand how and why. I never partied or played around. All I did was work and school, I never even dated yet I failed it was so humiliating and depressed. I felt like a total failure because I felt all my classmates were advancing and doing great things in life except me who seems to be going in reverse. But now I accepted it nothing happens without Allah's Wills and content with it.

You can also seek wisdom from the story of Ummu Salamah.If Allah test us with calamity, we are advisable to recite Innalillawainnailaihirajiun Allamahjurni musibatan waaklufni khairun minha.We surely belong to Allah and surely we will return to Him.O Allah grant me reward for this calamity/musibah and replace with a better one.May Allah grant you a better rizq.I also heard let say after a few years we suddenly remember and feel the pain of that musibah and we recite that doa, we will get a reward as if the first time we are tested with that musibah.Subhanallah Allah is the most Compassionate and Merciful. Another doa we can recite for better rizq and destiny is Al Qasas verse 24
