Great shave. I hope Nick Shaves is doing well. I don’t blame him if he stepped away to focus on both his job and taking care of his family. Being both a parent and surgeon is a very stressful responsibility for anyone, but I wish him the best. Speaking of slants, the funny thing is I’m planning on using my Maggards Slant in my next shave. It’s been a while since I last used a slant, but it feels great to back to it. It’s moderate aggressive with some blade feel, but it works well in taking down my coarse hair. I love it, and I recommend it to anyone looking to try out slants. The slanted angle at the beginning reminds me of a Dutch angle shot which you’ve seen before in movies. I’m studying filmmaking in class, so I had to point it out. Have a good one!

Interesting shave. I picked up the Parker slant 2 weeks ago. Works well with the Astra Super Platinum blades on my face. I recently was introduced to Trumpers Eucris shave cream and the matching skin food. This combination has become my daily go to. Got to give a nod to TOBS Tobacco leaf also. You fellows across the ond do make some fantastic shaving products. Thanks for taking the time to make this video. Perhaps Mrs Kevy could make a batch of scones for me!

Hello Kevy, how would you describe the difference between the Yaqi Ultima Slope Adjustable and the new Yaqi Torqx? I already use the Ultima Slope for daily saving. I want to shave my neck in one pass with the grain (from south to north). With the Ultima Slope I have to add a Gillette slide or J-hook to get a DFS in one pass. Do you think the Torqx is more effective but also mild as the Ultima Slope? Thank you!

On the higher settings, I think the Torqx will do a better job than the Ultima Slope. Kevy 😀
