E6000 glue is what I use. Glue a few pieces of glass together, press down on them periodically or put some weight on them until next day-then glue on more glass if needed. {I make tall glass birdbaths and garden art totems} If you use E6000 on your screws and gems, put screw in styrofoam, glue gem on, put masking tape over it until it dries. Instead of clay, you can glue a piece of JB weld "SteelStik" onto the glass to put your screws in. That's what I use to put screw hooks to hang my birdfeeders. Just a suggestion that you might find easier. Your yard art turned out very pretty.

if you use hot glue with your E6000 it dries and helps hold the objects together while the glue seasons over the 72 hours👍

I'm a carpenter, so I have a standard size miter saw/chop saw, but I've never seen a cute little one like you have. I love it.... perfect for small stuff and not so intimidating for those who might be leary. I'm sure it's much lighter too. And, I absolutely love your vintage, thrifted, flower yard art. It looks so spectacular and elegant, and not cheap and trashy. I can't wait to make some for my friends, family and, of course, myself! Thank you! What a great idea!

That's a good idea about the plants. I have tried to attach a piece of cut metal to make a "leaf" because everyone keeps telling me that they need them but I can't get them to attach. I never though about attaching them from the ground like that.

My neighbors to the left and right of me have the tree line. We’re just one of the few who keep it cleared out as far as shrubbery. The neighbors directly behind me have no trees because the developers believe in clear cutting everything. It’s really destructive and sad to see. (It’s a new addition to our development and owned by different people)

When putting that gorgeous 1st one together ... you could sit the tub of air dry clay on the amber plate to weigh it down while it dries, for a tighter bond. They turned out beautiful. Definitely clustered together . Looking at this an idea popped in my head. Get some cheap plastic pots from the Dollar Tree ... Drill a hole in the center and thread them down the poles to the ground. Then add soil and plant some seasonal color or ferns at the bottom as a flower bed of sorts.

Thank you so much Beth, I think about all the things I donated in the past and it makes me sad. I always loved the 60's 70's style so I would buy things at yard sales and thrift stores but it wasn't until this year that I was able to find a way to add them to my home. Plus with cottage core being a thing a lot of the things that I thought had gone out of style from the 90's are definitely back! 😉

Your glass flowers are very pretty. Great projects! Information about your vegetable garden - your peppers will cross pollinate. So move the Jalapenoes further away from our sweet peppers. Otherwise your sweet/bell peppers will be "hot". ~Kathy

I moved them as soon as I read your comment. Thank you for telling me. I kind of figured the jalapeños would be hotter being in the same bucket as the ghost pepper but I didn’t realize it would travel over to my bells. Hopefully it’s not too late. 😕
