Very nice finds! Crissy was a doll I had while growing up. I had her mother, Amy, too, but I do not know whatever became of either of them! I am always on the lookout for the dolls of my childhood like her, the gorgeous Italian Furga dolls, and Holly Hobbie dolls whenever I visit the local thrift stores. I have not been to a yard sale in years and I am thinking may be I will get back into it! It is amazing what treasures you might find at someone's yard sale and at rock bottom prices too!

I'm living a collector's life vicariously through you! I've never seen a talking Crissy! I had the original, but she is long gone. I had a hand-me-down Midge at one time, I wish I still had her, as her body would be good for your swap. Loved the brown eyes on the Barbie! Thanks again for a nice mix of nostalgia and new discoveries for me!

That is a really awesome haul:)!! I so LOVE your Holiday Tradition Barbie because I so LOVE her heart broach and her turn of the century out fit:)!! I also really like Velvet's pink with white polka dot bathing robe, orange purse with turtle patch or print on it, and I so LOVE the "Pull Together Dress":)!! The "Pull Together Dress" looks similar to a dress that I had on one of my Baby Dolls, but I no longer have the dress or the Doll. Thank you for sharing these lovely Dolls and their accessories:)!!

Have you gotten your Crissys yet? They are a good size to play with and dress - easier than Barbie, although they do take up a lot more room. Thanks for watching!

I love Crissy family dolls, I have 5 now. Two Velvet and three Crissy dolls. I had one as a child that belonged to my mother but she unfortunately got thrown out. These dolls to me as an artist are very unique looking with beautiful details such as the face molds and the clothes and hair gimmick dolls are an instant win with me. For dolls of that time they were a nice size compared to other dolls and very nice quality. I also love the green guard from star wars with the bulldog like face, hes kinda cute in a way :)

Did you know that many of the Crissy family dolls were sculpted by world famous sculptor Neil Estern? He is best known for his work on the FDR Memorial in Washington DC. He started out with dolls when he was a young starving artist in the '60s. He did the beautiful Playpal series too. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Hi, the action figure you show at 2:15 actually is a Star Wars character. He's a Gamorrean Guard from Return of the Jedi, though the paint scheme on yours is different, so he might be one of the later ones from the Power of the Force2 from the mid 90s? Same for the other ones you showed. The ones from the 90s look all roided out lol that's the fastest way of telling them apart from the original Kenner ones from the 70s & 80s. Cool haul.

Nice Haul! The green pig-face guy is a Gamorean Guard from Star Wars Return of the Jedi. I'm envious of the Velvet apple dress! Yes, crissyandbeth is one of my fave websites. So much info and patterns!

Thanks tygerstripes! I didn't recognize the Gamorean Guard, but it's been a lot of years since I've seen that movie. Maybe time to see it again!
