This weekend my husband I went to our first yard sale of the season! We drove over to a local church that was having their annual fundraiser. I found some great finds and deals on vintage collectibles & unique items to up-cycle in upcoming trash to treasure videos. Hi Teresa, You asked about the big Westinghouse roaster in your video… My parents had the same one only it had a cabinet which was attach to the bottom of it they had that as long as I can remember… Probably the 50s and mom would use it when we had a lot of people coming over for dinner, roast beefs, hams. It actually was a good idea for summer time she didn’t have to heat up the oven and heat up the whole house… Anyway thanks for another great video ! Jan K.

HOW did I work in Rogersville for 10 years and not know about this yardsale? I think at least 2 of the guys I worked with go to church there. Men!🤣 I'm still catching up on your videos so I've already seen some of the things you bought. Isn't it great to have a yardsale buddy?❤ Lord willing things will be better by Spring & we can have yardsales again. Maybe I will see you & Linda at some😊

Hi Teresa and Linda ! WOW what a great yard sale. There was so much there that ibliked . But I know I would have bought all the cake and cupcake dishes. As I am planing to have a ice cream party and cupcakes for my great grandchildren and they would have went well with the theme. I Love, Love, Love Yard sales and Church sales they are the best. How fun,Teresa. The prices were unbelievably cheap. I would have picked up so many things, especially the wood table, recipe box, cutting board, and candlestick pair. I would have gotten the wood ice cream maker for the bucket. We roasted turkeys and hams in the Westinghouse cookers for church dinners for at least 40 years. I would have loved to have been there with you.

Cheryl, you and I are a lot alike because I went for some of the same items you liked also. I wished I could have just bought everything! I loved that roaster and could tell it was a classic. This church has this sale each year and it’s one of my faves. Great prices and interesting items. Thanks so much!

My grandmother use to roast her turkeys in a big roaster just like that. Except it was all white. It didn’t have blue on it but it did have the stainless or aluminum lid like that one. It was nice to have it for Thanksgiving and Christmas when the oven was being used for other food such as pies and casseroles.

I am just now seeing this video. The roster pan you where talking about I had one given to me back in the early 90’s. My grandmother gave it to me and it was that color blue. It sit on a enamel cabinet with a door in the front and it still worked. Gosh brings back so many memories. Not sure where that pan is now after several moves. Wishing I would have kept it. Great video ❤️

Haha.....price tag on your sweater..👌..i had $3 on me one time.......lol.....used 2 go 2 30 !!! YS &/or Estate sales a WEEK!!! For my flea market booth had it 7 yrs on weekend.....still got so much junk around here.....ROASTER!!! Lol just was telling y in other comments ever household in the 1950'early 60's HAD TO HAVE ONE i figured out...we had one in beakfast room off kitchen big GMom quit using b4 i was born dont know why...was just there"" i think too much trouble! Plus Grandaddy had passed away

Oh my goodness. I am just now seeing this particular video. That looked like a fantastic yard sale. I would have had such a good time at that one. So many pretty treasures to be had at reasonable prices. I have watched some of your more recent videos before I saw this one and I recognize some of the pieces you have made over in the later videos. Man you are talented. I watch you in the mornings and get so excited. It gets my creative juices flowing. I have to get up now and go make something. Sure wish I had a yard saleing/thrift store shopping buddy like you.
