Hi, my name is M-J and I live in Montreal, Canada. I just found your tutorial and I am in love with your project. When you started adding the second mesh, you got all my attention. It was amazing at that point and then you went on with the bow. This is a project I might try. Thank you so much for sharing. I am looking forward to seeing more. Happy Holidays!

I try to keep it simple so everyone can hopefully follow along and keep up. I do understand though, that I might not be for everyone and that is ok! 🤗

This is beautiful. I have to say when you started the ribbon I could not imagine those patterns working together and they are awesome!

Thank you so much!! Sometimes you just have to think outside of the box and not be scared of mixing and matching colors and patterns. This was hard for me to learn. Lol

I struggled with bows until I got a bow maker. It definitely takes practice to get it down.

Good afternoon. Nice swag! Question, though - would you tell me your thought behind cutting the base row of mesh at the end of the first side, and then starting again to complete the other side? Why not just leave the mesh as one piece to continue around the end and down the second side? Hope ny question makes sense, and my apologies if you already covered this in your tutorial. Thank you.

Love this great job would love to bows I am struggling with bows.how many rolls for one swag
@birchlily14862 жыл бұрын
OMGOSH I struggled with making bows as well. I got a bow maker and that definitely helped. As far as how many rolls, it's all up to you. I like bigger bows so I will use 5-7 different kinds of ribbon. The great thing about crafting, is there really is no right or wrong way.
@awalker50982 жыл бұрын
Thank you for this tutorial. Do you only use wired ribbon or a mix of both to make the bows?

How many inches apart?

This is my opinion it’s way too busy! Wow 😯 you’re idea is there but way still way to busy.

I am confused you cut your mesh 10 inches for the ruffle for the wreath I thought you used a whole roll
@birchlily14862 жыл бұрын
I used a 21 inch roll of mesh for the base, which uses a full roll. Then I take my 10 inch mesh and cut it at 20 inches and use those for my ruffles.
@venitabrowning98412 жыл бұрын
What size ruffle would you do for the yard stick using the 10inch mesh
@birchlily14862 жыл бұрын
I cut my 10 inch mesh to 20 inches. You could even go up to 25 if you're wanting it to really stand out.

Good technique tutorial but I couldn’t see much for camera placement. Everything was chopped off. I skipped a lot too. An hour is a long time.
@birchlily14862 жыл бұрын
This was my first tutorial ever. I completely understand about the camera placement, I'll work on that for the next one. As for the length, that's just how long it took. I watch tutorials all the time that are as long or longer. However, I do appreciate the criticism! 🤗
