Hey Hey. We had already 3 Running Archery Competitons. Mattjias Lehner run with 75 lbs. I had 50. Under 50 i did not hit that accuarete. What do you think is more difficault. Running Archery or Horsebackarchery. I alwaxs lost the red Ribon.

Hey there, now that's nice, and thumbs up for Matthias. What kind of shooting distance you've had in these competitions? Thinking of everything you need to learn and practice before being able to shoot from horseback, and the pace of the shooting there in general, the horseback archery is more demanding. But running is actually often more jumpy ride so sometimes a single shot can be way easier to take from horseback than while running.

A great shoot! Looks like we all are doing moving and shooting recently. I do have a question if you don't mind answering. Do you have any quiver recomendations for the northern climate? Perhaps even traditional for the area you are aware of? I am in coastal sweden, and searching som some quiver design ideas. It is quite moist quite often here. I have some design ideas but have a hard time finding any "historical" quivers for that sort of climate except for hungarian designs.

Thanks, and nice to meet you! I use many kind of historical leather quivers, mostly the hip quivers as seen in here, but also the hungarian type. Ancient Finns have traditionally used either (elk/reindeer) leather or wooden quivers. In my experience leather quivers work fine in all kinds of conditions, be it freezing or hot and moist - and you can always use suitable leather wax to protect them from the elements. I've purchased the most excellent quivers from Nomadic Arts Archery. Find the youtube channel here, with some quiver making content too: www.youtube.com/@nomadicartsarchery268

Hehe, yes well it's not sprinting for sure, but the definition of both feet above the ground simultaneously is met. ;)

@@AlfaRevoluzione Sure, I have to master (slowly) walking archery first then, see you in a few years for the running part? 😉

@@UgriArcher You always improve a lot from one video to the next, you're already very accurate in this one and at that speed, can't wait to see your running archery skills in the next videos to come.

@@snaiwa I've actually done a good deal of running archery in the past: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fl7dYoeYhcRlqaMsi=jfNxHkox5OphUKAK ..but the practice with this bow moving with my own feet is mostly completed here and the next step is to bring this bow on horseback.
