This little girl was the symbol of the young state of Ukraine at the Independence Day parade in 2021 (you can find a video of last year's parade on KZbin). An-225 "Mriya" (mean’s “dream”) the largest and most powerful transport aircraft in the world, created in Kyiv and burned by the Russians during the occupation of the airfield near Kyiv, at Gostomel. A farmer who stole a Russian tank and towed it to Ukrainian soldiers with his own tractor. Volunteer Serhiy Prytula and an 8-year-old boy from Chernihiv who sings Ukrainian songs on the street, collected ~2000€ and donated for the Ukrainian army. A nurse who cried because of the powerlessness of not being able to save a toddler who suffered from Russian bombing. Episode from the funeral of Roman Ratushny, a 24-year-old activist who fought for people's rights, preservation of parks and architecture, became a soldier in this war and was killed. The legendary defender of Azovstal, who is now in captivity with his comrades. Every frame in this video is our life today, how we fight and for what.

You are right, it was the same in the USSR, everything is fine with us, but even if it is bad, it is better than others. You must remember the song "22" you've reacted to earlyer. Now this song looks to me as a remake in Ukrainian language. They kept the same beats but changed the lyrics according to those trials Ukraine's going through now. Since they haven't made any english subs i'll try to render it with my small comments upon some moments a nonukrainian may not know. There are no lyrics awailable yet, so i'm rendering by ear. So.
