Yarmouth harbour, Isle of Wight

Glad you like the video. Yarmouth is actually a harbour rather than a yacht club. It has evolved over the years we've been visiting from a series of basic fore-aft mooring piles into the pontoons you see today. There is still a working ferry terminal linking Yarmouth with Lymington on the mainland and you can go under the bridge (which lifts throughout the day if necessary) to explore further upstream. The Yarmouth lifeboat is based there as are a number of working fishing vessels. One of those great places that sets you right in the heart of the action when visiting by boat.
