I love watching your videos! I see a bit of myself when you were a bit sad for selling the hare. I sold a fox sometime back and had the same reaction. I do love the process of watching a piece come to life. In 2019, I really did not know what this craft was. I kept seeing these beautiful wool sculptures. Finally learning what it was called, lol, I bought a kit off of Amazon and started watching videos. Just before COVID, I started teaching classes at my local library. In spite of the pandemic, the class was well received. It has grown where I teach both an afternoon and evening class! My class can have up to 16 people at times. I have to thank you! Watching people like you, I have learned so much!! I am constantly telling my students to watch needle felting online. Some listen. I make a list of those I love to watch and share with my students. I've got some of my students watching you too.

@@feltsbyphilippa You're welcome! It can be quite frantic at times. I have had some people coming since the beginning. They often pitch in and help those that need it when I can't get over to them. I have been blessed to have wonderful people coming to my classes. I always tell them, They don't have to do it just like my project. I give them "artistic licence to make it the way they wish!". My classes last a few hours. If we have a more complicated project, we carry over till the next class. Some will often work on a past project while the rest go on with a new. It somehow works out. My many thanks to you and others that have taken the time to share what you do!

I thoroughly enjoy, and I learn a lot from your videos. Your little side trips keep me dreaming of visiting the UK and shopping in all those wool stores. I understand how attached to their creation a creator can feel. You put a lot of yourself into artwork. Would love to buy a kit or two, but shipping to the U.S. is a bit out of my price range. I vote for a video to demonstrate how to create the owl.

I enjoyed this video so much! I loved seeing the journey, shops and craft fair. The black and white lamb was adorable. I raise sheep here in USA. I’ve been following you for a very long time. I lost you for a while and happy I have found you again. I know your going to enjoy your drum carder. I have a large one, I spin, weave, knit, and crochet my wool. I’ve bought some things you have suggested, I’ve got a 16 and 17 year old granddaughters, I’d love to get interested in felting. I’ve never felted an animal, I felted hats and slippers only. Your pieces are gorgeous and I enjoy watching you. Thank you for sharing this journey!

Thank you! I’d love to see many more video like this one! Wow it kept my attention the anticipation of what was you were doing next. Have fun carding, just don put too much wool in at one time add it slowly so it won’t get hung up. Oh and the hand carder underneath the carder, is called a doffer it is for cleaning the wool off the teeth when you change colors or just through carding. You can also use a diz to make a rolag or what you were calling a rope. You may already know this, if not I wrote them as tips. Oh and when you take the carded wool off there should be a line where there are no teeth that’s where you split the batt and then take it and roll it up on a knitting needle or a dowel rod. Hope this helps.

love the videos, I have been watching them for 5 months now. What to buy, what not to do and do. I consider you my teacher. May I send my first felt and would you tell me what you think. If you have time. Thank you. How would I send pics if I can't figure it out?

Where do you sell your video instructions? I’d like to sell video tutorials but no idea where to start. The logistics get me.

Hi, you need to find a course provider that you like and sell through them or you could just sell on Etsy with a link to a private KZbin or Vimeo video x
