I also live full time in my RV, i have a large tote on the floor of my closet, a backpack... er 2 👀 I also have a box of cotton wool blend I'm making into a cardigan on the top shelf in my bedroom then another good size tote under one side of my couch and a laundry basket under the other side... We're building a schoolie and every time I notice a void I tease my family about it being another yarn storage location. They don't find it near as amusing as I do 😂 one day, my husband and I were driving up to Home Depot and we have to pass Hobby Lobby to get there and I said Ohhh it's my favorite yarn (my husband stopped listening here) storage location! He did a double take and said what?! I giggled and told gim I'm only buying more yarn IF I don't have enough to finish a project...

Girl. I live in a large cabin house and STILL have yarn everywhere. There is a “yarn room”, but there is no pretty wall or organization. It’s so random in bins and the giant ziplocks. I hope to use all my stash and/or have it organized before I die. I ask God to let me live long enough to finish all my wips. 🙏🏻 love hanging out with you no matter what you’re doing

I store some of my yarn in the clear totes from ziplock. You can buy them in different sizes. They are easy to see the yarn in. We too have a camper. I put yarn in all sorts of odd places every where. Finish the shawl. It’s beautiful

Brand new sub here. I love yarn organization videos because I'm so lousy at it. The best I've managed so far is sorting my yarn projects in the large zip lock storage bags (15" x 15" and larger) from the $ tree.

I'm impressed that you can donate yarn. I haven't been able to do that. As far as organizing goes, it looks to me like you have it figured out. I also have a place where I put things that I don't know what to do with. More important to enjoy your craft thatn worrying about cleaning.

I understand your issues. My husband and I travel full time around the US in our RV. I use the back cabinets over the couch for my yarn, but I have to admit it has extended to under the couch and bed. UGH!!!😊. I keep my scraps in a big basket in front of our fireplace and when it fills up I make a scrapghan.

Girl - I've just come across your channel tonight and you're a girl after my own heart!! When you picked up your shawl and said 'I don't even remember what I did', and then you opened the cabinet and said 'I don't even know what I'm doin' with this'....I laughed out loud! I swear I've said the same thing more times than I'd like to admit! By the way, if you figure out a way to finish the shawl - I sure hope you do it! It's lovely and it drapes so nicely! I am moving across country from a 3 bedroom house in FL, into a small 1 bedroom apartment in northern MN. I'm only taking my car - so it will be interesting to see how my packing goes. 🤪 Of course my yarn is coming. I am hoping it will survive in vacuum sealed bags for a few days while I am on the road. If anyone has any tips - I'd appreciate them! Donating is great of you Christine. I only make projects that I donate to hospitals or missions - (with the exception of gifting 1 baby blanket to a new baby in the family). I've never even kept a hat for myself! I will need one this next winter though - so I'll create something for myself! 💕

I live full time in my RV but unfortunately I don't have empty cabinets to put yarn stash in. I have plastic containers that are in the corner of my "living room". It's so nice to relate to someone else with yarn stash, living in an RV full time and being/living in New York!

Love you “real in the moment” videos. Have a question why don’t you use those skeins you are donating to crest other projects? Mixed colored pot holders with the cotton or colorful market bags etc. It’s so hard for me to get rid of yarn with how expensive it is these days.
