Yarn Review - Hobbii Metallico

I knit a cartridge rib scarf from this yarn in a rose color a couple of years ago. It looks great, but the 'sticky' quality did make it more difficult to work with, especially when I had to frog it to fix a mistake. It really is surprisingly soft.

I watched a tutorial where they used this yarn and I feel in love with how beautiful it is...I really enjoyed your comments and I'm grateful for the information about it being more of a #3 as that's my favorite size yarn...its on sale right now...so I'm going to get some for sure now. Hi Reggie, this yarn does look just like Ice Yarns Rock Star. I made a top using one of the Rock Star yarns and am wearing it in my #shawlwefudgeit video. It came out very soft, and I really like it, but you are so right...frogging it is a nightmare! That wool fuzz just grabs onto itself. I’m looking forward to seeing what you make with your yarn. The colors are gorgeous!

Shiney yarn is usually slick in my experience. So is this slick? Does it slide? In which case it would slide off the hair if in a hat. Edit to add: i spoke too soon, lol. Should have waited till u were done. Sorry bout that. 😐

That would depend on the cardigan... What is the total yardage your pattern calls for?

@@JHookCrochet she doesn’t say but she is using the glitter delight yarn from hobbi I would use that yarn but there’s no black and I want to make a black cardigan to use everyday with any outfit

@@sofiadeangelis4431 ok, the yarn she uses is a bulky, and has 105m of yarn per ball. If she for example says 5 balls, that means 500m. So you need to make sure you have the same yardage. It will probably add up to a different number of balls in total, since metallico is a thinner yarn

Yeah, that's dollars, I was talking Euro. I think in dollars the current price is ok. I wouldn't buy it when it isn't on sale.
