Gosh, you wore me out! Phew! HiyaHiya hooks are my favorite, except the larger sizes. Their 12 and 14 MM hooks are plastic and need to be sanded, and maybe some powder or something. I had some boye plastic larger hooks, but those were lost in the Hurricane Helene mess. I lost all my projects and yarn, when a larg oak fell into 4 rooms. Slowly getting more yarn. Some pretty yarn was gifted to me, by friends and family. The HiyaHiya hooks have a unique hook head, that works so smoothly it is crazy! They are a little more expensive than the boye and Bates, but less than clover and tulip. I can't use handle hooks. My brain just doesn't get it, it's too awkward. Loved hanging out with you. Love you ❤️

My favorite hooks, when I first started it was Boye, then I heard a lot of crocheters talking about Furls and they made a world of difference with my hands not hurting, then I needed smaller hooks and purchased Clover Amour. I am working on my first amigurumi, a teddy bear. He is turning out so cute.

Always remember to breath and I'm not sure it matters as to mouth or nose, but in for 4 seconds out for 4 seconds, eyes closed seems to help me as much as the slowing down for a few moments.

My favorite hooks are Clover but I do have a large collection of different hooks just because they are pretty. Lol! I think the stitch markers you were talking about that were wiggley are Clover, I have some of those, they have different sizes. 🧶💜🙏🏻

I watched til the end, and I will tell you my favorite hook: it’s just the regular metal Boye hooks! I have a few (maybe 4) that are from Michael’s or Hobby Lobby. But I mostly reach for the Boye hooks. I’ve never been one to collect a lot of different styles. I could tell that when you bent over to retrieve fallen objects, that it was no fun at all. I was going to suggest having a grabber in your yarn room. But then I realized you don’t have the ability to squeeze the trigger for it. Dang it! We’ve got to figure something out for you because you don’t need to be bending at the waist. I think I have 6 WIPS, but to be truthful, I have no interest in finishing 2 of them. I made 2 Bo-Ho purses using 4 granny squares each. But I never finished them because they did NOT turn out very cute AT ALL!! I knew they would need to be lined so things wouldn’t slip out of the holes, so I began lining one and it’s just not looking good…..😩 So I lost all motivation to finish them. Enjoyed seeing you and watching the video while I washed dishes and did a little straightening up. It’s like having a friend over to chat, except all I did was laugh when appropriate! You perfectly described my life when you talked about your computer. My hands are ok, but, about 5 years ago I lost sight in my right eye. I am right handed. I often cannot see things. I find myself having to use my left hand because I can onky see on that side. My husband gets frustrated with me because I am doing things backwards. Even after 5 years I have to remind him that if I have to turn to the right I can't see whatever he wants me to look at. lol
