I have oodles of loop yarn. I cut the threads that hold the loops as loops and now I have just yards and yards of non-loopy yarn… much easier to crochet with.

Loopy yarn is for finger knitting. Bernat blanket yarn is cheaper for more yards if you want to crochet. Less work, too.

@@Arvalia85 I agree. I made so many items with the loops that I was over it. But I had oodles left. I was like, “No More!!” So I started just clipping the little thread that held the loop shape and I ended up with a straight line of yarn. I mean, isn’t that what grandkids are for? Showing them how to help gramma by clipping that little thread? They each tried to make the longer yarn length. They’re so competitive. It worked.

What a great selection. My Hobby Lobbies in the 30 mile radius has dwindled down their yarn aisles. They’ve taken away many of my favorite yarns. Still have a good selection of I love this yarn and I love this cotton so that’s what I shop for. I haven’t checked in about two months, maybe they have adjusted and my stores will be similar to yours! One can only hope!

Just a heads up, if you compare prices ounce to ounce it's cheaper to by the regular I Love this Yarn compared to the Crafter's Secret Big Idea 16 oz skein. That one surprised me lol! I went through Hobby Lobby's yarn section just 4 days ago and was so very disappointed. They have downsized it tremendously! Only 1 full isle only of yarn and the prices have really jumped. I ended up with "I Love this Yarn" which wasn't as expensive as some yet is still soft for making an afghan.

Which Hobby Lobby is this? I went to a Fort worth hobby lobby and it has ONE and a half rows of yarn and one row was all that extra bulky stuff, so not very many colors adn selections in other yarn. Soooo disappointed. maybe the one you went to has a better selection, but I can't see anywhere where you say what Hobby Lobby you are in. That would be useful information.

Not a fan of Hobby Lobby. Bought a pattern, went to return it, and they made me stand in 3 separate lines to get my $13 back. First at the regular checkout counter, then, after standing behind 3 people, they sent me back to sewing, again I had to wait for a clerk, who then sent me BACK to the front to stand in line again!!! Sooo much easier to buy online. I mean really!
