I'm doing this now on flat, double metal hoops form and it looks great so far. Thanks for this tutorial - tips are fantastic When pulling through the 2nd loop it helps a bit to face the needle down (bonus tip but not needed as OP is perfection)

Can't find the braided yarn bee chunky knit at Hobby Lobby. They only had yarn bee chucky smooth chuncky yarn which is more od a smooth chenille. This didn't make my braid as prounounced as i would have liked. Any suggestions where i may find the Yarn Bee Chuncky braided yarn? Loved, loved your tutorial, just couldn't find thd braided yarn. Hi! That's totally going to depend on the thickness of the yarn you choose. (A thinner yarn will take a lot more yardage to cover the same area than a thicker yarn will.)

Any yarn will work! The smaller it is, the longer it takes to cover the wreath.

I honestly don't know; it was less than a skein of the yarn I chose. But yardage/meterage is going to vary greatly depending on what yarn you use.

Be aware that ONE BALL of this yarn at Hobby Lobby is $20 (as of 1/7/23), and it is only 30 yards!! You might only need one ball, depending on what size wreath you intend to make, but it is realistic that this is not an inexpensive project!
