The name of that book from Samuel Gamble Bayne was 'The Pith of Astronomy'. His autobiography 'Derricks of Destiny' (actually on the kitchen table here at the minute) is well worth getting - if you can get it! On viewing, have decided not to have the second bit of Twirl with the cup of tea.
